Well looks like there are a few skaters around. But activity needs to shape up.

I can't start a new discussion till I get more posts in but how many of you visit the indoor skate parks in the winter/bad weather??

Been meaning to hit up Krush recently but haven't had the chance. Looks like we're getting more snow now, which I'm not looking forward to. After that though it should start warming up. So I'll be trying to hit up Wilson, Logan and Burnham park as much as possible.

Stick to your Texas thread, kid. Unless you actually have something decent to post in the Chicago section.

I'd like to hit up Chicago sometime in my life.
How are the spots in that area?

Well, if you decide to hit up downtown, there's always prime spots. Dealing with security guards here n there is always a *****, but that's nothing new. There's spots all over the city, you just have to know where you're going or go searching for some.
We have two solid concrete skateparks by the lake shore. Wilson skatepark is one of them. Here's some links of pictures and youtube video. http://www.snakeboarder.com/chicago-wilson.html

Burhamn skatepark is another by the lake shore. http://www.yelp.com/biz/burnham-skate-park-chicago

We also have a non concrete skate park underneath our expressway.
Logan park. You can actually see it in my gif below .http://www.yelp.com/biz/logan-square-skate-park-chicago

There's also a good amount of skate parks in the suburbs both indoor and outdoor ones.
