Surfer Jer 02-27-2005, 08:43 PM Got started in the summer of 1978 on a plastic Streemline board from JCPenny that cost $8.99. I just used it for riding. I didn't do any tricks except for tic-tacs and kick turns. By 1979, I only rode it in my basement occasionally. I got back into it in summer of 2002. I guess that makes it about 3 1/2 years in all.
