Dunno if this is a rule yet but I think when nominating a MOM the person nominating should have to have been here for the full month.

An example if needed:
Billy joins the site october 15th.
At the end of october the nomination thread opens up.
Billy tries to nominate someone but he can't because he wasn't here the full month.

I think you should have the difference between a shifty all in the air and a shifty where you do a 90 and pivot back.

I was going to make a thread to request but saw this.

Could someone please make a thread on all the grinds, or atleast the most popular and how the board/trucks sit on the rail/box. I'm confused with Feeble, Willy, crook etc. So if someone could make a topic on that, it'd be great. I'm sure alot fo other noobs like me would like a clear and right explanation of some popular grinds.

Alternate terms:
Frontside = toeside
Backside = heelside
===

Would this count? I'm suggesting this because many of the skaters in my area use the fs terms "heelside" or "toeside" in terms of the usual use for "frontside" or "backside"...

(BTW, I'M STILL CONFUSED ON THIS USE OF TERMINOLOGY, SO CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG)

When is my video thread gonna come through? Remember how I said it'd work like Skate Perception, only we're skaterscafe. We can even have video on the main page. Speaking of the main page, we should redo it, we need skaterscafe to maintain original, not the same old forum website. Lastly we should do assignments a bit like SP too.

Yes, and the rest of the threads you have been posting on have been to. Just no need to spam to noticeable things.

I think there should be a Health/injury section, for people who get hurt, etc.

thats pretty sweet.

The majority of ollie and flip tricks he invented throughout the 1980's, including the flatground ollie, the Kickflip, the Heelflip, and the 360 flip are regularly done in modern vertical and street skateboarding. he being rodney mullen

xMareritt

people keep getting confused between boneless and caveman.

caveman = standing with board in hand and jumping putting board under you and landing
boneless = take front foot off while grabbing fs of board, slamming the back, jumping with your front foot and then getting it back on the board.

Whats the meaning of

Half-cab:

Quarter-cab:
half cab is when you are rolling fakie and you 180. a full cab is when you roll fakie and 360 im sure you can guess quarter cab which im assuming is a shifty of some sort.

doesnt buttery mean a ledge that you dont have to wax cause its slipery as it is?¿

buttery means either really clean or smooth, with lots of style although now it is the equivalent to steezy/steez

Old School Tricks:

Tricks that no longer progress, and have been done for some time. example...some grab tricks like judo air, oldschool air, Nose grabs, tail grabs, indy's even. also things like no comply's, boned ollie's so on so on. Also includes tricks that aren't commanly done.

Buttery (adj.)
1. slick, smooth, slidable as in a ledge, a box, or bench
That ledge is sooo buttery. I can tailslide it for days!
2. clean, stylish as in a non-grinding trick
That was a buttery hardflip down the seven!

plannotb96

not sure if this is already on the list but STEEZ or STEEZY..is like easy style...when someone throws down a trick and made it look so easy and they had such a smooth style with it its just straight steezy
