The DIC or DWC is nice, cleaner than the others. If it supposed to say DWC it's cool, if it says DIC, then the I is way out of place. the throws don't seem to have perspective or flow, make sure the letters are the same width, and give them some sort of flow. Hey LJ Nice work on the tags. Im loving the first one, but the second ... The only thing that kills the second one for me is that its kinda hard to make out the 'H'. But overall they are both good.

Second one, I don't like, shadow is way off, don't like the letters too much either. 3rd one, the fill is nice, the fade is good, overall I like it. 4th one also quite nice, shadow still off, but better than the other one, lose the arrows, the letters are nice.

Yeah Enigma I dont like the first orange and pink one with the drip things (its just the shadow that kills it for me), the fade one is pretty nice, and im loving the last one, just lose 2 or 3 arrows. Overall, brilliant work!

It goes like this...

just make all the letters one color... like grey or something, and dont color the face. it will get really complex otherwise.

Umm I get them at newsagents. i ALSO USE touch twin markers, theyre like ink. Try going to a local newagent and ask for bullet point paint markers, there usually fairly pricey, i jus got a bunch for chrissy. ill show you a bunch of good pens you could order of the net though if you wanted: http://www.bombingscience.com/catalog.htm?category=Markers just scroll down and youll see 10 markers, which are paint ones, then touch twin markers, which are ink.

Angskater, try choosing three colours, maybe red, yellow orange, or blue green prange, colours which go together like that, and colouring each letter 3 different colours. then maybe just make the face pink or whatever so it stands out.

Nice Enigmatic thats better than the last IMO. All the letters are great, except the O. Thicken the O up and fix up the shadow inside it. Keep it up.

In any case the S is the best letter. But you shouldnt use that name, seeing as kiser just died and all.

I really really like it, Ditch the cracks though. And add an Outline, and dont use that paint just yet, beleive me you should save it untill you get all the basic stuff down. Use rusto for bombing.

AnSKaTerGirl, what is the point of posting up other people's painting's and trying to say they are yours? The paintings you are posting up are the sorts that take years and years and years of practice with a can, not getting them your first or second try.

I do all my sketches in pencil then trace over with some Prismacolor markers. I got them for free, but they were about 20$ at the store for six markers. It's about 50$ if you want a set with a few more colors.

Paint pens are easy to get, spray paint is harder though, the local store is very strict about selling paint to minors.

So my friend gave me a Molotow paint marker, but it's running low. My other friend said he has some OTR ink to refill it, but will it be ok? like using ink instead of paint?

So my friend gave me a Molotow paint marker, but it's running low. My other friend said he has some OTR ink to refill it, but will it be ok? like using ink instead of paint?

yes it will work fine. If you want you could make your own paint to refill it with...

all you need is oil based rustoleum paint (hardware store) and paint thinner.

its 2 thirds paint. One third thinner/ Mixed together.

its real easy.

or just refill it with the ink your freind has.

Many of the kids on here dont paint illegals to begin with. Im a little worried about posting up stuff but meh. I know some kids busted for posting there stuff on myspace...

On this forum I know (Lounge 37 I think) a whole bunch of people post there stuff and They just dont care cant skaterscafe add up to that? I mean myspace is really popular I dont blame em for getting caught but skaterscafe aint like that, we have alot of people though never the amount myspace has though so post some pics so we can view it :p

haha, you just reminded me, I live in town now so the hardware store is within walking distance, and when I bought the paint I was using in my picture, I went in with a duffel bag, and the whole time I was buying it I was wondering if he was going to get an ID and right before I left his son comes up and goes "Did you check him for ID dad?" and the man turns around and goes "Shut up and let the kid paint what he wants!". I've been back a few times and he always winks at me when he sells it to me now....

But i like the box bubble effect. Define the letters more, and you could have a heavy bomb mate.

yeah thats the problem im having, making my letters readible. its with all my texts. i dont know how to change it and still keep it to my style without it affecting the entire concept.

start off simple man, practice with your letters in doing different words you like.when you come up with a word you like stick with it.

andd uh. learn the history. and the vocabulary. so you dont look like a total toy.

dont do arrows.

dont do extensions.

dont do a stupid name like "king" or "tagger" or "style"

choose something like i dunno. "KMART"

that would be a cool name. its traditional for more advanced writers to give a name to the less advanced writers and demand them to do simples. so yeah. do fereeaking simples...

a simple is not a throw. it is not a piece. LoOK AT THE LETTERS ON YOUR KEYBOARD.

your gonna go write kmart (its only temporary, listen to me now if you dont wanna suck)

go write the K M A R T exactly like that. however make the lines thicker. you could get out a sheet of paper and right it really big. then just keep making the lines thicker. or you could try making each like a rectangle of the appropriate thickness. keep all the lines the same thickness. now take a pen of a different color. and outline every letter. this is hard to explain. maybe ill make a thurogh post on how to start...

that is a perfect example of a cleanly executed simple.

it has the letters. it has 3d. (which you will learn later. its hard to explain) and it has an outline (the pink line running around the whole thing)

Do you really think a toy should start with making bombs? I sure dont, I would say start with handwiritting. Take a word you like and write it as plain as possible, then write it as fast as you can, then as wide, then as tall, then start to combine differant elements of each to make a tag.
