Well, I have been closing up some of the older Competitions threads that have been completed for some time now...I was curious though, do you all think it would be a good idea (if it's even possible) to create a folder I could move the completed games too (after a few weeks of no discussions on the competition, and everyone's pretty much moved on) so that we can slim down the actual pages for the "Live" comps and the fairly recently finished ones...I'd like to keep the older ones for historical value as well as having them availible to new members to see how they ran, who won, etc etc...

Maybe creating a "Finished SKATE Competition section" (just under the current one) would be satisfactory so I can move these over! Any idea's from the Team and the Captain?

Yeah, that's a good idea, the SKATE forum does get a bit clogged up.

Yeah, I just assume leave the previous "Closed" comps available to view but not post in...We can just organize it with the discussion threads w/ the tricks thread underneath it so without anybody being able to post in any of them, they won't move around in the section...Just for viewing pleasure!

Yeah Tom, it's working fine...I just have one question. Is it possible to move the order of the threads Up and Down in the section...So if I wanted to move a thread from the top of the page, to the bottom of the page, is that possible? I might figure it out, but thought i'd save myself the time and ask!

Any of you guys can help, and I would appreciate that :)!
I wanted to, at least, ATTEMPT to keep them in a general order, GOS together, FOS together, and then random comps, BUT the only way I was able to change the order, once moved, is by moving them back and forth between SKATE COMP & Completed SKATE COMP...That's why I asked Tom if the order can be moved up & down in the thread...I realize once they are moved though, and competitons are completed and moved, that order will be messed up again, so lets just move them over...

Although, hey Christian, do those Skate Tournaments go in any order? (If not, then just move them over together I guess...I couldn't really figure out an order of operation)

There really isn't a set order for the competitions as a whole. The individual games go in order of number, but there isn't any rules about having a reg. game and then a freestyle game, or anything like that.

I say we move everything over to the completed games archive, and then post in each thread and then lock it. That way, they will be ordered in the date last posted. Good idea?
