Just me being a stereotypical American assuming that all Austrailians have seen the Mad Max movies. I even think they did a Simpson's bit like that, once. But, to my defense, I saw the first one back in '81 and was blown away with the story and action sequences. For a movie that came out in '79, it foretold a future that wasn't that far off from the truth. And yeah, they butchered the dubbing, my DVD has the "native" version which is light years better. I even had a 40 x 60 poster of the film in my room as a teen, god knows where it is now.
