I have a small circa logo in the bottom corner of my board.

My grip doesnt reall have art on it, just two inspirational quotes. The first is from Survior by Chuck Palinauk(the guy who wrote Fight Club). It says "People have been working for so many years to make this world a safe place. No one realized how boring it was" The other is a saying that Woddy Guthrie used to paint on most of his guitars. "This Machine Kills Facists." There is a poorly drawn outline of the Philadelphia skyline across the place I set my feet up for classic flips. You will also notice the bear claws. Thats from a run in with a bad darkslide(the flatland style).

I use to put a lot of stuff on my grip but I have been slacking lately. Thanks for reminding me to jump back on the grip customizing train.

It doesn't effect it too much if you don't put alot on it. Mine's kinda small.

You should get some paper and draw things you might want on your griptape, then if you really want it, make it bigger (or leave it the same size, but do it on another peice of paper anyway). Then make it into a stencil then go spray paint, or use white out, or razorblade it, or what ever you do.

lol I was gonna do Pikachu actually, but charmander was always the ****. And it took like 3 hours straight. I was at a friends house and bored at like midnight, so i started that. It's so disturbing while skating tho cuz I can't see my bolts so I aim for charmander and the heart.

Naww I'm just gonna leave it there..

What really happened is my dad said I "Needed" help with it.. And he pretty much did the first one all himself and it looked like s***.. Then the day after I did one myself and it turned out quite fine.. :)

The worse part is, He sprays doors, baseboard.. whatever for a living. He owns a buisness called "The Spray Booth" and A 14 year old sprayed a handycapped sign on a skateboard better than him.. Time for me to start up the family buissness.. ;)

I used paint pens from the newsagent, I had two different brands, one was Pascal paint pens, and the other was Zig painty.

hehe I have destroyed my griptape out of pure boredom. The nicely sprayed fallen symbol is gone and I just made a pink mess lol. The middle part has writing on it on the deck (blueprint logo and things) so that bit looks better in real life.

Just find an Obey image online, supersize it in photoshop, reduce it to black & white, print it, glue it to something like a file folder or something stiff like that, then cut out the black part with an exacto knife or something.

I used to have a blueprint style heart on my old blueprint deck, but that got destroyed. Man I aint done nothing to my deck since Ive started skating again, I'm gonna do some to the new deck I'm buying next week!!

i spraypainted my grip gold and than put bones rat stencils all over it in black. i on have a camera.

heres mine lol it was a stencil but broke after i tested it!!! :( so i drew it with a bleedin 20mm paint pens (proper thick hard to get lines) and outlined it in black and the crosses are too see where to put my feet during a flip im not religious lol!!!

acrylic paint pens. they can be bought at most large art supply stores like hobby lobby, Michaels, etc

Or if you are doing stencils regular spray paint works just fine.

for sure! I have just go with paint pens because i like the control i have. i suck at making stencils :(

On my front bolts i have a custom logo i made, and on the back, i have "SKATE" stenciled, but i messed it up :(

I'm stickin with pens from now on,

on the last deck i skated i let my aunt draw my face in the middle of the deck with sidewalk chalk and then i sprayed it with a light coat of hairspray and it stayed til i broke the deck. the worst thing about it was it looked alot like me and i lost a game of SKATE i had 100 dollars riding on and i stomped it.. right in the middle. it feels kinda awkward stomping your own face. lmao. i would post a pic but it would take days cuz i have dial up.

i had dug up this old back up board and put some brand new grip on it and i was thinking bout hookin it up reall nicee with some graphics
but i decided not to so i went down stairs to skate it and in ten minutes i broke the tail off....it must have been like dry rotted soooo yeah good thing i didnt waste five hours doing graphics lol

the only artwork that i have on my griptape is a big brown dirt smudge (in a spot that doesn't really matter). i never cleaned it off after i was skating in nashville...
