Well it does flip forward but only about backwards would be werid.

i don't think i can imagine a world where that would count. your foot landed on the ground a full 6 frames before the board did, and you're actually doing a different trick. We both did a twisted underflip to switch tailstop, but you're doing a switch twisted underflip to regular tailstop. I don't care about that too much, but you have to land solidly to tail, at least.

I do all my tailstop flips switch. I figured that shouldn't be a problem, since I do all of my 50-50 tricks switch, and that's never been a problem either.

Like I said, I quickly threw this together and uploaded it. If it doesn't count (which it doesn't if my foot hit the ground), then I'll refilm it if I get the time. I do have all day today and tomorrow.

They aren't that hard, they're all fairly basic tricks strung together. The only problem is finding time during the schoolweek to match them. And I know Aron's on winter break, so bleh, all he has to worry about is weather.

I also have to worry about the fact that i'm thinking about taking a letter because I hate this combo so much, for so many reasons. There are also two things about this trick that make it MUCH easier for you, but i don't want to say anything, for fear that you will use those things against me later. I'll probably get it eventually, but when each attempt takes a minute and a half, it could take a while.

I honestly didn't think that this trick was hard at all. In fact, the only thing that gave me trouble was the first Casper to Rail - I haven't skated since two Sundays ago because of school and that one was a long time in coming back.

that first casper part i find quite easy but for the life of me i cant get the bloody casper 1/4 flip to rail, it looks so simple too =( still time i guess

well, i twisted my recently broken ankle twice today, so we'll have to see about this match. in any case, i landed the first 50/50 trick, but lost balance in nosestop before i was able to get to the NH 50/50, and got almost as close a few more besides that.

well, i decided to man it out and try it some more today. I can get to the first 50/50 trick without too much problem, but the pogo pad on my trucks keeps getting caught in my shoe somehow and the board refuses to flip. Of course, each attempt takes 7 jumps off only my back leg until i get to that point, so my leg is getting pretty sore. I'm going to make you pay, necro :)

well, i set on 12-22-2006, 12:16 PM, which would be 9:16 to you (as if that matters). Five days later, 12-27-2006, 12:16 PM, time was up for matching. At that point, you had two days to set, but since it's been 28+ hours, your time is up. That is, according to your rules at least. There's no mention of waiting until midnight your time on the given day, and I don't see why there should be. You're the only person who would benefit by waiting until midnight your time, since it's well into the night for the rest of us.

^The FGoS4 has always been run like this:

Someone sets. I look at the current date. I add five days to that number. Using my awesome mental math skills, I calculate what day that will be. Then I give people until midnight my time on that day to match. That's how it's done.

When it comes time for sets, I look at the date. I add two days. Then I throw the midnight thing again.

Using your set. You set on the 22nd. 22 + 5 = 27. Therefore, time was up for matching on the 27th, midnight my time. Then, 27 + 2 = 29. My set is up at midnight my time on the 29th (which is today).

I've run all four of the FGoS's like this. The only exception is that I experimented with making people match by the exact time five days later. I thought that was a hassle and not really necessary. So I got rid of it.

yeah, that seems nice for people who have sheltered and lighted skate areas and live in california. Anyway, my argument is that you say that you get 5 days to match, and common knowledge says that that's 120 hours. this rule really seems like a cop out, especially since you make no mention in the official rules, or anywhere else for that matter.

By the way, you can't honestly think that that was a coco wheelie. It was quite obviously a primo slide, and is practically impossible on my rough driveway. Of course, you couldn't care less I'm sure, because you went for the jugular on this one anyway. if i match this, expect a tiny primo slide and a very under-extended gymnast.

In all honesty, it was actually a coco, but I'll accept a primo slide if you want. When I took it down to rail it turned itself into a primo slide for a short bit.

I loathe small coco wheelies. Whenever I got a nice long one I'd mess up on the gymnast plant.
