i know .gif works for the transparent ones i make, and his is currently a .png, but it is showing a black background

it only shows black in IE but ill try GIFs as my Transparents

yeah i know i suck at rendering (thats what it is called lol)

well i use a program called gimp but most people use photoshop there like paint, only a lot better

what do you use to cut?
I use the pen tool.

Oh, i use magic wand, magnetic lasso and regular lasso usually.

i use the path tool then convert the path to a selection, i just need to work on making it less blocky and this method works very well for a lot of people

this is my favorite one o've made so far in my sig career if you see black on the right hand side its because you are ethier using the old version of IE which doesn't yet suport transpaerncy

Great idea for your sig skullfire, but don't like the border it should be smoother and thicker. Otherwise, great job.

i made the border on accident and though it looked pretty good! but i guess not :(

You know, there's a really easy way to make borders.
Make a new layer. Press Ctrl-A. Go to Edit-Stroke. Then just do as thick as you want. Just so you know, thinner borders are just more appealing to the eye. That's why I wouldn't use any more than 2 px. for the border.

Um, I know how to make borders but I don't use photoshop. I use Gimp. Its like a freeware photoshop type thing! And in gimp for a border you can just go decor> borders> border> then I usually select 2 px but this has rounded edged so its harder but now I know how to so

Yeah, I have GIMP also. But I downloaded it just to see if it was as good as photoshop.
