Yeah flippers is pretty clear, mine isn't that clear but it uses an SD card instead of tape so its easier to get footage on the computer lol

I have a VX2K also but I have a modded Raynox instead of a death lens. I love my camera, it gets such great colors.

Mine is almost exactly like yours highvoltage, but it's the slightly more compact model, the Sony DCR-TRV 250... two of my friends have the TRV140 like yours and i like mine a little bit more just cause its less bulky, but theyre both essentially the same and both really great cameras for the price

What's the difference?

I use a vx2000 with a GS 180 backup cam. The VX gets insane colors and good low light. The GS is handy for second angles and for capturing footy to the comp. I have a few lenses for my GS but nothing for my VX. So most my recent footage is longlense and relies heavily on a steady hand with careful manipulation of focus and zoom. (Most my shots I use manual focus on. VX has a bad tendency to shift in and out of focus when on auto.) Sick stuff.

Oh, and my handle that took me months to get around to and ended up taking about 20 mins when I actually started on it. Haha.

i have one of the very first sony dvd handicams, its pretty sick but before they made em with usb cables so i gotta load everything straight from the dvd's, it works tho
