Guys just wondering, if something is meant to be rotated 180 degree's. what is the minimum rotation that we could get away with? im thinkin 120 - 140 ? thoughts..?

Well, I would usually say 90, but I reckon you guys are good enough to beat that. lol You do a 90 degree half cab flip and cant be bothered to get one thats 180, come on guys, if it were the start of the game then I would say 90, but I would have to say about 135 degrees is the least. So half way between 90 and 180.

mines was about 110-120, with a fast revert. i can get them pretty close to 180, but they are extremely ugly, they look like varial flips but you turn with em, instead of a fakie 180 kickflip.





One thing though, you should be able to roll away, like if it were a 180 ollie, you should rotate it like the least amount for yourself to roll away, like you cant roll away from a 180 ollie landed 90-120, cause your be at a dead stop.

Sounds about right, there was a 540 1 footed kickturn and a 720 1 footed kickturn... Just gotta use everything thats at your disposal i suppose...

Everything was correct ut it tied up at the end SKAT to SKAT. Remember Warcatz go him that one letter on the either switch or nollie heel? It was great to watch, and I too was one that thought varial was goging to lose in a heart beat. He proved me wrong and I never underestimated him ever since.

I looked it over pretty thoroughly and im sorry but i dont think theres enough rotation... I Asked for about 150 , and i think that was about 90 Degree's maximum Judging by the angle you rolled in at and the angle you landed...


My advice is to wind your body up more like an exaggerated 180...

Yerp i was the same for a long time before i could get proper rotation , My advice is to wind up hard and put everything you've got into it.

lol... why play your big guns early? I would do a normal forward flip first. Dude, you just have to put some practice in and you might get past these... You're on SKA, if you can match a single forward flip, and take a letter on the double, you're still in it.

I learnt them both in 2 days, I had a 1 hour practice the first day and got this close to forward double flips ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5WxRGLvOOY then the next day i accidentaly caught a single whilst trying to do a double and landed it after 15 minutes, then 30 minutes later i got the double down. Singles arent that hard really its really in the motion... GRR its raining i cant work on my next set

^ Well the first "flip" trick I learnt were shove it underflip body varials. I had never seen them before, came up with the concept and learnt them - all while continually failing at kickflips. Then learnt 360flips, then shove it double underflip body varials, then backside 180 ollies, then shove it underflips, then varial kickflips, then kickflips... after about 7 months of trying.

I've always learnt stuff in the wrong order, I could do blunt to rock reverts on a quarter pipe before I could do a rolling ollie.
