I was almost getting a trick kind of like the kiwi flip, but instead of flipping it with my heel I would underflip it at the nose with my toes. If I had more time I woulda nailed it.

Yeah it was nollie, and no I haven't laned kiwiflips. I can never get my heel to underflip it, but I haven't given them much thought. I might try them a bit tomorrow, any tips?

Oh yeah the nollie back foot impossible trick tip. Ok put your front foot in the corner of the nose, and your back foot with your toes hanging off a lot, over the bolts. Pop the board like a nollie bs shove-it, and jump back A LOT. Point your toes down and guide the board around. You wan't to make it wrap around the foot. During this time your front foot should be tucked in a bit. When the board finishes spinning just bring your front foot down.
Problems:
"The board shoots behind me". Jump back more, the board needs to be in front of you a bit.
"The board ends up in front of me". Jump forwards, but remember to jump back too.
"The board just ends up doing a nollie 360 shove-it". Try popping the board a bit more, pointing your toes down a bit more, and focus on guiding it around.
Any more questions just ask.

whats with all the impossibles? haha, while trying a regular stanced 360 underflip some of the times it would wrap on my back foot like an impossible, I dont know if i can mimic the wrapping nollie but ill try ;) good clean set!

Keep trying. At least give them a shot. Just try different methods, foot positioning, and watch the other matches to get a feel for different methods of doing the tricks.

The tricks that were set were like nollie impossibles and switch front bigspins and i cant do regular impossibles or regular front bigspins (i can only do them nollie) so thats why i said that.

A few tips for Qtip :

here's my foot positioning for nollie impossibles :

as you can see I set my front foot flat pretty much across the nose, covering the whole width of the nose and slightly pointing outwards which I find to help a lot for a proper wrap. Set your back foot somewhere you can get it out of the way easily, I personally set mine somewhere close to the back bolts but I know people who just rest their back foot on the tail, experiment both ways and figure out which one works the best for you.

Then use all of the strength of your front leg to slam the nose down so the board goes as vertical as possible, don't think of it as a nollie 360 shove-it too much or chances are that you won't get a proper wrap, try to have the tail raising up vertically. Keep your front foot low, and draw a little circle in the air with your front foot at the very right moment when your board is close to be perpendicular to the ground to get the wrap, then landing shouldn't be too hard.

Well I find switch fs big spins and nollie impossibles much easier than their regular counterparts, I learned nollie impossibles four years before I could even spin a regular one, the reason why I think you should give each set at least one go is that seemingly complicated tricks are often easier than you first think when you see them. This is why games of SKATE are for, trying new tricks and eventually learning them :)

Thankyou MRCK! I have my front foot more into the corner or the toeside edge and right when I pop I scoop and it scoopers the underside of the board :( Ill try this way but it wont be 100% vertical, or 100% 3 shove. thankyou :D

Wow, I tried it for an hour, and I actually think I got worse. The closest I think I've gotten is having the board pop vertical and fall down. I'm gonna film some tries, and I need some feedback on why I'm not getting close.
EDIT: Yeah nevermind, I found out what I was doing wrong. My foot was staying on the nose, instead of popping the nose down and then spinning the impossible. I spun a few and got close, but by the time I figured out why I wasn't getting them I was so tired it was hard to get decent pop. I'm probably gonna be able to match it tomorrow.

Ok my problem with nollie 360 kiwi flips (which I am trying first) is that if I stick my foot in the corner, when I pop the board it flips kind of like a nollie hardflip (just a little) so I can't get my heel under it and I end up just kicking it.

Finding the proper foot positioning is the key for any nollie kiwi flip variation, you have to set your back foot closer to the tail than you would think for proper balance and the trick itself is all in the front foot positioning, have it pointing at somewhere betweena 45° and a 90° angle and have your heel hanging off and reaching down so the inner part of your foot is basically in contact with the heel-side rail of the board. Then just apply some pressure in the heel-side corner of the nose while popping frontside, suck your legs up while hooking the board from underneath with your front foot heel, watch the board spin / flip and land ;)

i'm not sure if this would help, but i CAN get the flip, i leave my foot there until the board is on top of my foot and then pull my foot up towards my chest.

You have to try them at your next sesh, set up like a kiwi flip but underflip it with your back foot once it has almost done the 180.

Just to make sure, is there a rule for doing tricks rolling and rolling away after the trick. This switch kickflip was done at a complete stop. I would count it but I just want to clarify the rules.

5: Trick must be done moving and must roll away moving. If you land it and have to tic tac to roll after then it wont count. However if you land it and roll and tic tac to regain balance, then that's fine.

We can't bend the rules just because some players have been inactive, you have to stick by these rules. He had been stopped for a while before he did the trick, and arto said it doesn't count anyway.

Seconded, even though I guess it's just a minor inconvenience in order to make sure that the site works fine despite of the hack, it's still annoying to have to repost all my sets / matches / comments on a daily basis just because we've rolled back to a previous backup... Oh well, let's just live with it, hopefully all this trouble won't last :)

What's a hospital flip for you Anty ? In my books it's just the same thing as a casper flip except that you don't actually catch the board into a mid-air casper, you just do a vertical half flip late shove-it thing. You seem to have a different definition ?

I matched the nollie tre flip, I'll upload soon. I'm not sure if you guys will count it, I landed, rolled a bit, did a tail "stop" (the tail was on the floor but the floor where I was skating was slippery so I just kept sliding), and then dropped down a step and kept rolling. I guess you have to see it before you decide.

That's another game of skate that Anty is in. If you scroll down a bit you will see Anty set a nollie tre, on February 13th. Click the link, and it's the same video as this nollie tre. Anty next time you try to use the same trick from another game of skate, don't steal it FROM A FORUM THAT I MADE. I say give him his final letter for cheating.

Cheating?? What the hell I didn't cheat. If I did something is considered cheating I'm sorry, but this and that are my two first games of skate on the internet. I figured as long as I do the trick I should be able to use it as many times as I want, especially if both games are happening at once.

This is an nollie/switch game of skate, and I pulled off that trick. If I pulled it off I should be able to use it in this game. The only problem is that I didn't do the right hand sign for this game.

1: All tricks set must be in either switch or nollie position.

2: No tail scrapes, railstand landings or extreme toe drags. By this I mean if half your foot is actually hanging off the board then it won't count.

3: No freestyle. This is an ollie flip game of skate. Pressure flips are allowed too.

4: No hand slaps.

5: Trick must be done moving and must roll away moving. If you land it and have to tic tac to roll after then it wont count. However if you land it and roll and tic tac to regain balance, then that's fine.

6: The hand sign for this game of skate is the "Okay" sign.

I broke no rules, and I did not cheat. If doing what I did is against the rules, sorry I didn't realize it was. If you don't want to me let me reset, I will bow out of the game respectfully. If you will let me set, I will try to film it by Friday. But please just make up your mind.

My set is up, quite a step up from my previous one, but with only supersonix6 and Qtip left in the game I wasn't going to set a nollie flip :) If you can do nollie impossibles or nollie pressure flips just practice a bit and you should be able to match.
