Ok, here is the official thread on how to post photos in your thread, you have 2 options.

Option 1: Remote link to another site where photo is hosted. If you have the photo elsewhere great, linking is a snap. Just click the little http://www.skaterscafe.com/images/editor/insertimage.gif above where you are typing and add the link to the photo and your done.

Option 2: You can upload the photo here. All photo must be compressed to help with loading times. If you don't have a photo compressing program check here (http://www.irfanview.com/). IF you have your photo on your hard drive the look below for this:

One you click on that you will see the following:

You can upload up to 5 photos per post, with each photo you need to click brouse and link, then make sure you click "upload" and wait for them to upload!! Once uploaded you will see a list of the photos you selected, close that window and finsish your post and submit as normal.

Not exactly, I use MS Publisher...that one is a free one, I would assume it would ahve instructions, if not let me know and I'll look .

how do u make pics on picgoo smaller?

I use ifranview to compress. Open your picture in ifranview, you can make it smaller in size which will make the make the file size smaller by clicking "image" in the top menu then resize/resample and make the overall size of the pic smaller. This is good to do so your forum post doesn't have some monster pic. Be sure to keep the "preserve aspect ratio" checked on the resize menu or it will be all blurry.

The other way to compress in ifranview is simply open your picture, then from the top menu choose "file" then "save as". When you hit the save as it will show folders on your pc where you choose where to save it and you can put the file name in also. I made a folder in "my documents" called "skate pics" so I know where they are. There will be a box on the right with a slider menu with "save quality" this is your compression. Depending on the size of the pic(file size) will determine how much compression you need. Usually around 80% is good. I always give it a new name so if you mess it up you still have the original picture.

Play around with the program a bit. Ifranview has some pretty good power for a free program.

how do you find the URL of your picture

Right click on it and then click properties.

it says that 39.5 kb exceeds the quata or something waht does that mean does it has to be smaller

how do u edit ur posts... after a certain amount of time i cant edit it and i want to delete a photo on one of my posts in the photo section... i edited one and put it on the same post... i cant delete the original HELP!!

^You can't edit your posts after 15 minutes after posting it. If you need a post deleted/edited, feel free to PM me or another mod and we can take care of it for you.

Then you have to go into user cp and press edit avatar.
