Ok guys, here are a reminde of the rules

1: All tricks set must be in either switch or nollie position.

2: No tail scrapes, railstand landings or extreme toe drags. By this I mean if half your foot is actually hanging off the board then it won't count.

3: No freestyle. This is an ollie flip game of skate. Pressure flips are allowed too.

4: No hand slaps.

5: Trick must be done moving and must roll away moving. If you land it and have to tic tac to roll after then it wont count. However if you land it and roll and tic tac to regain balance, then that's fine.

6: 3 days to set and 4 days to match, e.g is a trick was set on april 24th at 8:00pm you will have until the end of 28th (midnight) in GMT time zone.


7: Hand symbol is holidng up the finger next to your thumb

they aren't too difficult, if like me, you have nasty kicked down switch laserflips ;)

ya i got 1 question, i have a camera that makes my movie files quicktime so i cant use windows moviemaker to edit. does it matter if i have a few bails on the video before i land it or will in not count if i do?

Nice set Varial, I've never even tried this trick, I can do switch front foot impossibles and nollie big spin back foot impossibles though, so I might be able to pull it off :)

It's a game of skate, the point is to set hard tricks that will get other people. If you signed up for this you should be able to take the heat.

He joined to learn though. He didn't want to start off super hard.

Actually I don't think they did, the trick doesn't look perfectly smooth but technically the revert was fine and the trick is a make, so I see no reason why it shouldn't count :icon_boog

Wouldn't a switch front foot impossible shifty be a switch fs 180 front foot impossible (during which the board spins 540 degrees in total) revert ? In his trick the board only spins 360 degrees, making it a switch big spin front foot impossible, then he reverts out.

i'l watch it again, i was under the impression the board span 360 reletive to the body,

having watched it you are right, though it would still be a 1/2 front foot impossible shifty :)

well i went out and learned it this afternoon, took about 5 minutes to get a clean one :) going to film it tomorrow,

im a little dissapointed a only got to try that trick once, i've been real busy the last 3 days and havn't had time to skate unfortunately. the next two weeks are also going to be busy as hell with classes wrapping up and finals nearing. not a good time to be in 3 games! haha, hopefully ill have enough time to give upcoming tricks a better shot... although i highly doubt ill be able to do whatever dbs is about to set anyway

Ha, I practiced my nollie front heels a bit again yesterday and got two pretty good ones and guess what, my camera messed up both :icon_drdo I just found out I'm terrible at this trick when it comes to consistency, I hope I'll be able to film one today and my camera won't corrupt the footage this time.

It was 'just' a switch 360 kiwi flip pivot, now that I think about again it would have probably been a better set but I didn't like the one I got on film (http://media.putfile.com/sw360kiwiflipivot), I also thought of setting a switch impossible to fakie shove-it but I couldn't remember whether such tricks were allowed in this game or not and I didn't want to risk anything.

not hard for me... but i broke my backup board!! grr... i found this perfect 6 stair handrail while im out on tour and i broke the nose landing a crooked grind incorrectly. so i wont be skating for 3 or 4 days until i get back to ohio

No you couldn't, just because you're going to set a nollie laser flip :tongue: On a more serious note I'd like to tell you to go ahead, but my boneless 360 flip indy match in AAGOS2 was rejected for just a few extra hours over matching time so I don't know if it would be that fair in the end. So I don't know.

hmm SS6 and i agree. your front foot does flick but it looks like the back foot is doing the work.... im sorry, its just so hard to tell from that angle. but the way you have your back foot super angled and hanging off makes it look like its doing the work when it lifts instead of your front foot

About the whole kiwi flip deal, I can actually feel my front foot doing the whole work on most of my switch varial heels, they don't feel like switch kiwi flips at all and when they do interfere by accident, they only tend to interfere slightly by pushing the board against the heel of my front foot. About the foot positioning that's just the way I set up for all my switch frontside shove-it variations, not just switch kiwi flips.

Here are a few more switch varial heelflips, hopefully at least one of them will be countable : http://media.putfile.com/jdkfjkhdkcd or I'll just film a few more during my next sesh with a different back foot set up, but it will probably look like crap, because that's the foot positioning I feel the most comfortable with.

My set is up, it's a switch impossible body varial, a pretty hard one at first if you ask me but it's still far from being unattainable, just work on your switch shove-it body varials, then learn the basic motion of wrapping switch impossibles if you can't do them already and try mixing both techniques up :)

Switch hard eh ? Sounds interesting :icon_doh: I've never even tried them actively, but I recently learned switch frontside flips, so it's probably going to help. And by the way, I'm not going to be able to skate from Monday evening to Saturday this week, since I'm dubious I'll actually match your trick anyway, would you mind if I go film something and set a bit earlier than expected, like tomorrow in the afternoon ? So you can have the time to practice my trick while I'm away, and it's your turn to set again when I'm back. Just a thought :)

well that's fine, i may not be able to skate in time anyway though. i just sustained an injury to my knee yesterday (tried to 5-0 a handrail, missed the rail, ate sh!t) so i wont be skating til it gets better, and with SKAT already that may just put me out! but you can go ahead and post if you want and i can wait and see if it gets better in time to skate by next weekend
