I had the pleasure of doing Cody's interview, he's an excellent member, and a great guy! Got to know him over the last year or so, and he's turning out to be a quality skater and all round person! I can definitly see him going places in his future....and what a way to start by being voted MARCH MEMBER OF THE MONTH 2007!! Congratulations again Cody, you definitly deserve it! Enjoy everyone!
1) How did the name Newbed come about? Does it have to do anything with a bed?
At the time I joined the forum, I didn't intend for my name to become "Newbed." To tell you the truth, I actually meant it to be a form of noobed, because I was so involved in Halo and games where you get "0wn3d," that I wanted my name to be that. But I would much rather it be Newbed, only because it sounds much better.
2) What do you think you did better then Khukmoff to make you win?
I did absolutely nothing better than Chuck. Chuck is a great person and a great mod, and should deserve this reward. I think I only beat him because most people find my post funny, which I would rather be helpful than funny, but eh, what the cafe wants, the cafe gets...

3) What do you think you do to make yourself popular around the cafe?
Like I stated above, people think I'm a funny person around the cafe and I think that is what makes me popular.
4) If given the chance to ride with a few members, who would they be and where would the session take place?

5) Have you ever gone skateboarding naked? If not, would you do it for 20 bucks?
I would definitely go skating naked for 20 bucks, but I would need a picture frame to hang around my waist for all the ladies who want a picture of it.
6) After coming so close to winning Member of the Month so many times how does it feel to finally win?
It's a big relief, I know this month I shouldn't have really won, but I would have to say, I hated losing by one vote. I guess Chuck knows how that feels. Sorry, Chuck.
7) What is your favourite variation of the casper flip? :P
I love me a good old casper late flip or late shove. Don't quite have them locked, but the best variation I can do that I have nailed would be Alpha flips. Thanks MRCK for giving me tips and the idea for this trick!

8) Tell me the way to spend an ideal weekend for you. Friday to Sunday.
Skating and filming, bright and early. Feeling the cold air on our face and not having to worry about getting kicked out of places because they wouldn't be opened yet.
Actually, Friday morning, we would sleep in late, wake up for a heart healthy breakfast of a protein shake with nails in it. Then drink a couple of Amps to get ready for the day. From then on, we go skate, film, make some lady friends. Doc Feelgood knows how that works out, since he is such a ladies man. Saturday would be basically the same, and Sunday we would not have to worry about getting kicked out of places and getting the cops called on us, because it is the Holy Day and everything is basically closed.
9) How does the Crowned Cafe Comedian do academically?
As in school? I'm doing mediocre right now... My biology grade isn't the best... I have a better grade in Spanish than I do in English. A bit ironic, eh? Other than that, I make 100's in my World History class. I know I suck.

11) How long have you been riding, how did it all start?

I have been riding since October 2nd, 2005. It will end when I am physically unable to, or I will run out of time to skate with jobs and school, but that will never happen.
12) What's the thing you like most about the cafe'?
I like the community and the people. We are like a family here. Some people are like that dads of it, like Ray or Tom. Some people are like the great uncles, the moderators and Mike… But then there are the retarded little cousins, such as Jimmy the Rat or Animal Crackers. We are a big, happy, sexy family.
13) What are your goals for 07?
I want to get sponsored so I don’t have to keep buying and wasting money to get boards. I would like to pass 10th grade with A’s and B’s.

I actually didn’t get that much attention from Agent. But that’s fine, Bryan did a wonderful job with the video and it came out better than I expected. Did I mention I am naming my kid Easton?

16) How’s your skating social life? (Do you have a lot of friends, a couple, etc?)
Skating life... hmm. I have a couple of friends that skate; you wouldn’t know some of them, if any. Brock, who goes by Brock on the forums, is one of the closest skate buddies I have. Ostendorf, who goes by someone like, notdorf on here, he tries his best to skate, and he has learned a couple of tricks... Matt “Franklinstein” Franklin used to skate, and then he just quit. Just the other day I sold him a complete, so I got him back into skating. Oh yeah, his nickname is Franklinstein because of the board he rides... D:
17) Happiest moment of your life?
I will have to say puberty. No really, I have no idea. I can tell you what I want my happiest moment of my life would be. I would like to have all of the SC members for a big, ole’, jolly skate. We would hit it up from dawn to dusk, and far after. Does that seem like a happy moment?
18) What kind of music do you listen to? Favorite bands?
I’m really into any kind of music. I like laid-back music. Kings of Leon are really appealing to me now. I just love all of there stuff. You guys should really check them out. I also like Bob Marley, GWAR, The Bloodhound Gang, a lot of the 90’s bands. Fuel, Tonic, Bush, Better than Ezra, Lifehouse, Staind, Third Eye Blind, Vertical Horizon, Default, and Marcy Playground are a few bands. Can’t forget Nirvana or The Servant.
19) Why were you banned a while back?
I got banned for being too damn sexy. No really, good question. Me and Joey, (Sq22), were in the shout box talking and posting gifs, and I went into a site to get one, and it said no hot linking, I had no idea what hot linking was, so when I went to post the gif, it turned into porn in the shout box. At that time, Mike, Tom, and Ray were all on, I was banned from the box immediately, and then banned from the site some time shortly after. I came back after a couple of hours though and I had to explain the situation. I’m sorry to anyone who saw those horrible pictures.
20) Why do you use windows messenger instead of AIM?
I’m way too lazy to get an AIM account, and msn just seems more appealing to me. Is that so bad?
