Ya you are having the same problem as I was.. took me 30 mins to get that trick. I just kept changing my foot position around and thought of it as a .. I cant ruin that secret :P but boy I took some hard falls that day lol. And I landed alot of those nollie bigspins clean lol, taught them to myself cause I lost them a week ago lol.

No I haven't. I've done fakie backside ones a fair bit (like pulling backward with the popping foot and reverting blind), and nollie back 360s are one of my favourite tricks of all time. I've got ideas to try next time though, ones to get my shoulder spinning faster...

never really tried these haha. but im sure ill be able to learn it quickly. and i know mrck's got them haha!

I'll go film one in a minute :) atrain, try thinking of it as a mix between a nollie backside big spin and a bs 360 nollie, they're quite easy that way and since you're a quick learner I don't worry too much about your ability to submit a match on time ;)

all I gotta say to atrain is... his tricks are freaking clean

Half match is up. I hope it counts. I went more of a revert than a pivot because of the smooth concrete. There is a slight pause as I boost the last 180 spin, but if its too separated then just say so. Such a stressful trick to learn (as you can see by my expression in the clip), but they feel awesome.

I think practicing nollie bigspins and landing in a nose stop would help.

i dont know haha....

well i can already nollie bigspin heel pretty well, and i can nollie laser too. so when i just threw it like a nollie gazelle with the flick of a bigspin heel it just worked! i was so surprised! i didnt pivot much either, its pretty much all rotation in the air. it only took about 30 mins to sketch land and another 15-20 to ride away well.

I have a nice gigantic bump on my hip from slipping out on trying those. Although I now have awesome nollie bigspins.

Listen guys, I've had a hard time landing just about every trick i've ever done lately! I'm seriously, its rather pathetic...not sure whats going on with me, but I hope to figure it out soon. I like hit 27 years old, and WHAM lost all my tricks, wtf!

Yeah, but if he cannot get a fakie f/s flip in time, then it makes no difference if you used it then or on a nollie 360 kiwi flip. It works out the same in the end.

The only times when you can screw up with the exemption card is if you use it too late (because maybe for the last four tricks NEITHER of you can land them so you dont get to use the card), or if you use it without one person trying the trick - which I dont think'll happen :).

i dont really do switch heels too much anymore... BUT it is kinda like turning an entire switch varial heel backside, with how the board turns relative to you that is. if that doesnt immediately make sense turn on thps and do a varial heel while rotating your whole character 180 the other direction :icon_wink

I just posted a match in the Tricks thread but I'm not sure whether it counts or not (it didn't seem that bad when I watched the footage on my cam after doing it so I kept it), let me now what you think and I'll go refilm a better one if I can find the time for it before the end of the delay (I have exams coming soon, which means less skating time <bag:)).

Well I'm probably the least qualified person to tell you about this trick but I will anyway because we're a TEAM! Haha. :icon_bigg

It's like a nollie backside 540 bigspin (same direction as that gazelle that SS6 set), but the board rotates and wraps around the foot you didn't pop with. As for the technique... I have no idea yet. Tomorrow I'll try some, all things going well. I'll pass on what I find out :)

I did land one of these about 90 degree under rotated and toe dragged, it wouldn't count though :(

personally i think you need to rematch, it seems about everybody slightly underrottates it haha, but you landed slightly less than 90... if you can do that than im sure you can land a proper one without too much trouble

Damn man, take it easy on that shoulder man, I hope you have a speedy recovery! I was on workmans comp for a month back about 4 years ago, when I had slight tear in the muscle of my shoulder moving a 350lbs patient from a chair to a stretcher...I still think I heard it tear when I put him down. Anyway, I know the feeling is probably similar, so I would prop a pillow under it when I slept to keep the strain off of it (I still do from time to time)

Also, I bought my own video camera today with some of the money from the game! Its nothing too special, but I'm stoked nonetheless. Its gonna be so handy.

Here's the unfortunate scoop. My buddy Ryczak has seriously messed up his shoulder and can no longer skate. Heck he's getting workers compensation so he cant go to work as well. Team SS6 + Ryczak is out of the game!
That means its Pathteks and Robo's set.

Bit of a communication breakdown + everything else happening.

Good news is, I got my truck back! Better news is I got my board back! Even Better news is it stopped raining!

As far as the communication breakdown, well, I think my faults are with that I got a new job promotion right after this game started, and every little bit of my extra time i've been at Dialysis Clinics up and down the coast of Eastern PA...

Pray for stability there....

Thanks...Yeah, can't say i'm ''enjoying'' it really haha...I went from the easy running of 2 clinics being an Equipment Technician, to being the Area Supervisor of 14 clinics. I can do the job, but the travel is ENORMOUS! Averaging about 80 miles a day seriously...But, they gave me a nice raise, so i'm dealing with it for the time being (until I lose my mind)

Exactly!! I had mentioned this problem time after time after time! Seriously, the cap is going to be set now, because even the guys that do play often, are now having a hard time keeping up with it all! Good attempt by us anyways...to the future!!

Dang! I hate only being able to play a few games at a time, everything moves so slow...
