What an amazing moment in music history! My favorite Hendrix performance outside the Band Of Gypsys New Year's Eve show.

:D I was listening to the one right after his improvisation at woodstock. Brilliant it is. Such a shame he had to pass away like all other great musicians.

As far as I know, the Woodstock show is the only place Jimi performed that song. But there's tons of Hendrix bootlegs out there, so there might be other versions. It's so good, it gives me the chills every time.

The worst part about Jimi's death is he only needed to be on his stomach to live. Since he passed out on his back, he choked on his own vomit. It's a bad idea to mix pills and booze.
