MRCK, oreo's are about 3.8cm across and 1.3cm thick. Also if you can try to get cookies that look like oreo's.

As the editor, I needed everything up by today so I could download it with the school's broadband, otherwise, I wouldn't have enough for our video to count. I gave as much warning as I could, but we didn't make it.

I'll still toss together the stuff i have so that the footage doesn't go to waste, but it's not going to count for anything.

my team might have to drop too, with having no footage from 2 people, having not heard from one of the people since this started and with only two people with everything we need and 2 days left, i really don't think we would have any chance of getting any points

my team is doing descently, we have all the needed parts from everyone, and we're in the process of editing it and possibly stomping down some tricks we have to add.

New deadline is Sunday July 1st at 12 midnight. Each team should submitt a video no matter how many points they think that it will get them, there are a couple of big unannounced points possible. And yes N*Sync would be allowed.

Extending the deadline to Sunday doesn't do much for me. My next chance at downloading will be Saturday at school, but the rest of the weekend is completely booked, leaving no time for editing. I guess i could just upload my stuff and let someone else put it all together, but that's assuming we actually get that footage. And considering the fact that I've been begging for it for a couple weeks, a few more days isn't likely to do much.

I'll make a video for my team, but there's a rule about everyone having to do something from each category for anything in that category to count. I don't have anything from two teammates, so nothing counts.

I think I figured out what happened though. Team member A decided that team member B should be the one to shave himself, so he went on a nation-wide search for him. Team member B fled, and during the chase, they both lost track of time. It's the only logical explanation.

no, we didn't do fakie lazer, late hardflip or 540 double. The only grinds we missed were darkslide which gish got, he just didn't include because his foot was totally on the ground, and then he couldn't get a switch smith switch flip out, and then for freestyle we only missed triple classic flip.

Ive never even seen a triple classic done...

I don't mean to piss on anyone's bonfire but I think some of the tricks in your edit shouldn't be considered as legit, the so-called 'backside 360 ollie' was a backside ollie pivot (despite the argument theGish and I had a few thread pages ago) which is about ten times easier, the big spin flips were rotated 270 degrees to dead stop with really late powerslides out (and I do believe everyone can do them like that, it just butchers the hell out of the difficulty of the trick), Qtip's noseslides were slappy (despite how FFC had specified that they should be done from an ollie)... If all this counted it would penalize the other teams whom members actually took the time / struggled to get clean tricks, or didn't even keep the footage of their sketchy attempts because they thought it wouldn't count. Ah well that's it with my rant :icon_bunc

You did a great job and your team is probably going to win from the lack of commitment of ours, especially when it comes to the random challenges :) You could compare us to the Girl team in KOTR 2004, we took it easy and had a bunch of fun doing it, while you would be the Zero team in the other KOTRs - trying your best, taking it seriously and having just as much fun :icon_drib

This weekend I am going to sit down and score all the videos. I watched thiers last night, and saw some tricks that aren't going to count.

I'm having an incredibly difficult time with Christian's footage. It plays fine on my computer, but it won't render right... the video keeps pausing while the audio plays normally. I had to edit it based on the waveform, hoping it would work out in the end, but it didn't. I'm going to rerender it in a couple different file types and hope, but it seems unlikely to work.

Unless a miracle happens guys, my footage is going to fall VERY short of only a few things...I signed up for this BEFORE I got this damn promotion in my job (not admin, but Area Supervisor of 14 Dialysis Clinics), and therfore, I have royally screwed my teams chances of winning unfortunatly...I working my butt off, and got what I had been able to in the daylight time I have very little of...But I have till Sunday, so I'm strapping up the ol' jockstrap and getting on the field to play ball once and for all.

Err...****, sorry about that Aron. I just saved it in .wmv though, I don't see why it's causing trouble.

well, after attempting to upload the video all day, youtube gave me the always helpful 'error' message, and putfile said videos over 25mb aren't allowed... Even though the site clearly says, "Video files can be up to 200mb in size." I'll try again at school tomorrow.

Well to be honest we didn't really commit for more than a couple of days, we do have almost all the flip tricks and freestyle but we completely left alone the rest (especially the random challenges and the weekly challenges). If we had commited it would have been a tight competition I'm sure :)

yeah, at first, MRCK and I were filming a lot, but once we realized that getting clips from other people would be like pulling teeth, it was hard to stay motivated. That, and the fact that we didn't know what to do and what to leave for the other guys.

Thanks man, but don't jynx it, haha. If we do win, it's purely Gish's talent with the rail section, Then SS6 got alot of flat and some freestyle, I took most of the freestyle, Qtip did the embarassing stuff and helped with the flat, Gish and I did a bunch of stuff for best trick, I even got into a SUIT! haha and tried to sew! Sk8almost unfortunately flaked on us, we really had to bug im to get his footy, after like a week, we wanted to have one different trick from each person in each category, then it was a free for all. I really like SS6's barefooted impossible, OUCH, I was going to do a 360 flip but that looked way better than anything I could've imagined, and then the top thing in the video, QTIPS DANCE, hahahahha

The second one hasn't started yet and you have to wait for sign ups. And you have to have a minimum of 300 posts and 5 dark green rep bars, so you probably won't be able to paricipate in the next one, but if you make a good video, you'll get plenty of rep, then work on getting the posts. and you can do KOTC3

i hope it does not start for at least a month or so because i need to finish up some filming for the uproot clothing vid. that and i have sk8 trips coming up shortly. i was thinking that KOTC should come up at the earliest tri-yearly(one every 4 months), or evey 6, or once a year. cuz if its more frequent than that the trick list will quickly get redundant. the more infrequent it is the more hype for it when it comes around :)

I like the not too often one, but I say every 3 months, quad yearly (?) because that was it won't be constantly kotc, we can all take a break, the list can be more thought up and not overlap ever without the tricks getting too rediculously hard. and that way maybe we could have 1.5 months to get footy instead of just 1 month, that way, KOTC is happening half of the time, 1.5 months on, 1.5 months off... and if the due date is longer, more people can get video up, unlike this time, just my group's team and Aron's team

I was thinking about the format of this game, and I think it might be better if it were a lot smaller, or the weekly challenges were much more important. Having a giant list of stuff to do sometime in the next month isn't as interesting as getting a whole new set every week. Maybe if it were 10 goals per week for three weeks (plus best ___ stuff) every few months, this could work out quite well.

Of course, Kayce hasn't said anything about wanting to do another, so let's not get ahead of ourselves.

That's a great idea, I think we should only have 4 at the most, and one and a half months to get all video instead of 1 month, so if we do 4 of these a year, it's 1.5 times 4, or 6 months out of the year, 6/12 months=50% so half of the time there is a KOTC going on, this way it's not a constant strain on the people in it, more hype is layed on it so people will take it more seriously, more time is allowed for people to get the footy, the goals are always creative and don't really overlap too much, and who ever runs it if it's FCC again, it's not a constant stress on HIM.

although i think there should be more TRICK goals, more skate-based challenges, more non-skating challenges.

but yeah if FFC runs it again its up to him.

I was thinking about the format of this game, and I think it might be better if it were a lot smaller, or the weekly challenges were much more important. Having a giant list of stuff to do sometime in the next month isn't as interesting as getting a whole new set every week. Maybe if it were 10 goals per week for three weeks (plus best ___ stuff) every few months, this could work out quite well.

Of course, Kayce hasn't said anything about wanting to do another, so let's not get ahead of ourselves.
I like this idea. Gives us something to look foreward to instead of having just one list and forgetting about it. I think alot more participation would be had this way as well. When there is one big list, it seems to be put to the side since we have one month to do all the challenges. These weekly challenges really put on our game and make us work at it so we get it done by the end of the week, rather than a month.
Any other opinions?

nobody in my team even had access to handrails. The whole thing was a little too spot-dependent for my tastes, but then again, I can only skate what I build, so I'm likely the exception.

My flat trick was actually what I like to call a begrafenisondernemer flip (a siyoun spin with an extra shove-it) ;) But I'm just being picky there. I'm glad we won these two awards, it's better than nothing :)
