I have no idea how close midnight is where F!F!C! is living, but our video is all filmed, edited and now its rendering. But it'll take about half an hour the render it all at the rate its going. Stupid slow program...

Ah I had the best idea and filmed half of it on the start of the 3rd week, but it was back home in Tassie and I wasn't able to get back to it. Uni started back up again. :icon_snif It would've been cool.

Yeah I got to sleep at 7am this morning (still editing at that stage fuelled on alcohol from the games of beer-pong we were playing earlier in the night). Woke up at 11am, got the editing done by 1pm and had the final video rendered after about 4 hours of screwing around (3 attempts there). Kept going all day.

Its now 11pm and my internet keeps cutting out just long enough so I just can't upload the whole file to any video sites (considering it takes over an hour on dial-up). It once got to 93 percent, but once it cuts out for a bit theres no way to kick-start the uploader into just going again. And refreshing the page starts again.

I've gone past the furious-at-modern-technology phase and in to the contemplatively-amused-at-my-own-bad-luck phase. Now I'm trying to get access into the universities wireless network. Its much more unstable but waaaaay faster if I can get it to work.

Or you could try cutting the video file in half, upload both parts on Youtube and link them together in a playlist ?

^ I thought of that, but more often than not the cut-outs happen within about 10 minutes of each other, which is about 1/6 of the overall length. I might try it with 3 parts though.

I wish I could've got more. Stuff like the BS smith grind miniramp and the pre-grab 180 tailstall I could've definitely got with more access to a miniramp, the hazzeflip and the 360fingerflip I was so close to aswell, but my uni work has been flat out.

The doing-tricks-from-the-list ones were fun, but the "skate a ..." missions and random skate one were DEFINITELY the most fun. In the world of skating I'm much more creative than versatile, so I naturally like to do something with a little more creativity haha. Probably like most people.

And I did the intro in Flash and gimp. I would've used after-effects if I was smart, but I don't have that program and I have no idea how to use it. So flash it is! Saved pictures from sreenshots, cut them out and motion tweened them on top of one another. Saved back into an avi file :)

Anyway, I'm definitely up for another game providing it falls within a holiday period. Half of this game was in the winter holidays, but then during the second half I was back to studies again which sucked. At least one of my classes this semester is video and editing so that should be heaps of fun. :D

I feel bad i barely did anything, i've only just done 7 tasks but one of them won't upload. i hope the others in my group can compensate. :(

I actually think during the summers is a bad idea, because people are always traveling in summer and durring the school year, we're at least at home, I mean I was only able to skate and help my team out for 1 or 2 weeks, I was on vacation for 3 weeks of this.

What if we had like 3 times the goals and had like 4 months to do it, so if we got it started within like 2 weeks, it could have it end like right after Christmas Break.

Holy crap, if you look at the picture I posted, my "final score" (really just wrote down a random number) was 2175. That's was pretty close.

Those scores are pretty close. But we entered heaps of the "best of" challenges. We had entries for best flat, best bank, best grind, best rain, best manual, best blindfolded, best in a store, best bare feet, best mini and best freestyle. Thats not far off how many you had.

Not to mention that I don't know if FFC counted some of their tricks, like the boneless to fakie was supposed to be done on the coping (or at least that's what I figured), or their backside 360 kickflip was a backside flip with a powerslide. We probably got the best edited video too, not to mention I got to skate the moon :icon_drib

But yeah it was a close game, I'm glad we managed to make it despite the 5 stair challenges and all the other categories we were light on. Party everyone !

Woah I just realized a huge loophole. There are many moons. We technically could have skated one of Jupiter or Saturn's moons! Damn, only if I had known back then.

Thats what I was going to do before MRCK did his! I've gotten very good at editing 3D rendered objects into video haha, and animating the moon was always my test subject on animation projects.

Honestly R-man, I really don't wanna ''rejudge'' the best trick side of this comp, cause lets face it, i'm sure my opinion will be different from someone elses. I'm checking stats at this point, and when it comes to best trick, well, i'm kinda looking toward maybe having you PLAYERS pick em as a ''majority'' thing...
