plz sticky this we already have a wii/xbox 360 thread but not a ps3 thread

I know thats something thats been driving me crazy but I don't think it will cause not a lot of us are proud owners of the Playstation 3.

I have a 500 GB console that was a 60 model since its launch. I took out the 60 HDD and installed the 500 one so I don't have to worry about memory problems. I also have an intercooler part on mine as well to keep it able to stay cool longer and I may get a Heavenly Sword skin graphics on it like I have Scarface on my PSP.

Next week Im buying Stranglehold (I might get the collector's so I can get that movie the game is based on and that Dead Men game.

The game Im most looking forward too are Haze and Heavy Rain. If you never heard of Heavy Rain the info has not been released at all only a casting demo has been seen and trust me it shows the TRUE power of the graphics engine in the beast!

Just look at the facial expressions and there are mistakes at first look but the woman thats doing the voice has verbal problems do to a stroke or something and the woman in the game also has it. WARNING there is a few curse words that gets said but nothing really to get all up in arms about.

Games for PS3 look no farther then me man Im at Gamestop every week getting a new game or just looking around.

Heavenly Sword
A must to buy its like God of War but it adds in more things that makes God of War look like nothing. It adds in air combo system that you have to switch combat stances in mid air to pull them off, theres also superstar kills that unleashes lots of different ways to kill someone. Nariko snaps necks, throws enemies, and more in the game, hack and slash can work in the game but only to a point unlike God of War. The best part of Heavenly Sword is the amount of movement on battle fields and each enemy has their own AI.


*Draw backs of Heavenly Sword is the game length the game is far to short its only about 8 hours but the game is action packed, perfect voice acting, and the game knows when you get tired of Nariko and the Heavenly Sword and throws you into Kai and Twin Twang to break up the action of sword play. Sadly there is little replay value unless you want to try your luck at Hell Mode*

Resistance Fall of Man
The best shooter on PS3, tons of weapons and each has its own power move. Theres tons of enemies to face as well, the game is great when you want to wipe out aliens and is hard due to the attacks by the aliens they attack in groups and shoot and fall back behind a object so you can't get a good shot on them. The online play is the best mode in the game, it gives you lots of different modes to play and gives you exclusive online weapons and some of them after you play you can get in the online story (some weapons you get when you replay the game which adds to the replay value).

*Draw backs to the game are little to none I guess thats why it got a 9.5 and tons of Best of at E3*

Folklore
Folklore is a great RPG that defines graphics to the next gen level. The colors displayed in the game are fantastic and the battle system is a first but sorta pokemon like. You fight creatures in different worlds and you can use 4 by assigning them to the 4 buttons (Triangle, X, circle, and square) you can change the 4 creatures at anytime unless your in the middle of an attack. The story is about 2 people Ellen and Keats that go to a village with different intent.

Ellen goes in search of her dead mother after she gets a message from her to meet her in the village. Keats goes to the village cause he gets a call for help on the telephone (he works at a magazine thats about the supernatural while he doesn't believe in it). They both go to the relm of the dead to get the answers to their quest to the village. The story is a great one that will make you want to keep playing.

The way you beat Folklores (bosses) you can find out how to beat them with pages of a story book Ellen's mother told her while she was a small child. This game uses the SIXAXIS to perfection, you get folk (small creatures) by attacking with the ones you already have and when you see their lids above them you lock on them and move the controller upward to gain them in battle and the more of the same folk you capture the strong they get.

*Draw backs are when you switch creatures there is a small pause that lasts up to 5 seconds no matter how many creatures you change. The Folklores you face (the bosses of each world) are hard and will take time to beat. If you don't like RPG games then you won't like this game so if you want to try it rent it before you buy*

Oblivion
I can't say much about this game other then if you like long RPG games you'll love this game! Its long, great story that ranges 80 hours to get 100% in the game. All quests and every.

*Draw backs the game length is far to long for me, I can only play it for short periods of time before I have to play a different game. The combat battles get old cause its attack, attack, magick attack and all the walking around. Other then that the game is solid and worth getting (just make sure to get the guide as well so you don't spend a lot of time walking around not having a clue on what to do or where to go)*

Ninja Gaiden Sigma
Im not sure if this is a remake for the PS3 from the Ninja Gaiden game that was on the original xbox or not but the game looks great but its far too hard to play. The game is fun at first but as the game goes on you find yourself fighting the same enemies in the same part of the level when you find you have to back track. This game is really hack and slash on a lot of enemies. I haven't gotten far cause Im not really into the game as much as I was when I first got it but I'll get back into the game and put more detail into it. So for now I can just tell you to rent it.

Need For Speed Pro Street
This game is fun but it seems short. Its unlike the other Need For Speed games cause it takes place on race tracks not on the open city streets like in Carbon. I just got the game today (November 15) and I can tell you the story is about your racer thats trying to break into the sport of pro racing. Im not far enough to tell you get sponsors for wining races yet, but when you play the game on causal the game is far to easy the hardest race mode is drag racing.

Im sure that online will be the main reason to play the game once you get the new physics down. A good add to this game unlike the old ones is if you crash hard enough in the game you total your car and your race day/weekend is over. Theres also damage that you can take for hitting another racers car, the extent of the damage affects the car's steering and the engine, the worse state your cars in the more it affects your chance of winning and you have to pay out of your race packets to fix your car before a race. If you don't do any damage then you don't have to pay for fixing your car.

F.E.A.R
FEAR is a horror styled first person shooting, the atmosphere of the game is dark and a bit freaky. You will hear voices in the game and shadows of people that vanish as you try to follow. There have been parts in the game where I said "F that! Im not going into that room/down that hallway!". Mostly when I was walking down a hallway and 4 guys get ejected through a window in front of me, I ended up turning around and walking out of the area. Due to the amounts of games coming out for PS3 I haven't played it since.

*Draw backs the graphics for the backgrounds of machines and walls look like they were papered in and a little fuzzy. The online play is only death matches where in my testing out where stupid: I was able to unload a full clip on someone across the room while they walked up as I was shooting and they shot me 6 or 7 times and killed me. Online play for F.E.A.R is not worth playing*

The Darkness
At first play The Darkness seems like its such a great game, the graphics are great, great detail on people. The story at first is great, a guy gains the ability of something called "The Darkness" which is 2 snake like demons. The game gets pretty dumb after Jackie kills himself and gets placed into a different world.

The only thing The Darkness does is eats hearts of your dead enemies (seems like the one on the right eats all of them). You also can unlock different attacks the darkness can do, Demon Arm, Wirlpool (or something). You can also unlock different creatures called Darklings that can help you kill people and help you beat some of the puzzles.

*Drawl backs online play its so stupid you can play human vs human, human vs darkling, or darkling vs darkling. I haven't played online play at all cause when I tried to play it NOONE was online playing it, all I know is its only death match every person for themselves.

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
The graphics of this game are great, the storyline is pretty good, the levels are big and long. Theres lots of goals and stealth missions in the game. The AI of your squad is good they help out and can kill people before you even get a good aim on them.

*Drawl backs online play is terrible the only thing worth playing is death match cause on teams its hard to tell whose on your team and who isn't. There is NO NEED FOR A HEADSET cause all the voices you hear are RECORDINGS. I guess thats why there was a lack of cussing when I was killing members that were on my team. Plus theres no real need to shoot people when you can post up by a door and stab whoever walks in the door faster then shooting them dead.

Clive Barker's Jericho
Now this is a fun first person shooter. Its a horror survival game, you will play as a squad leader till he gets killed in battle after which you will have the ability to leap from one person to the other. Each member of your team has their own powers. Its best to play with Church she has a sword that mostly one hit kills on enemies she can also use her blood to damage enemies. The game also looks great and has a good backing story.

Uncharted Drake's Forture
Another great coming game for PS3 its like Raiders of the Lost Arch and National Treasure mixed into a game. I have played the demo and the graphics are sharp while the gun battles are abit off but still above fair. The voice acting is great that shows that they spent time on voice acting and motion capture. Plus Uncharted will set game history: Uncharted will be the first game to use a full layer of Bluray and use 50% of the PS3s true power.

Final Fantasy 13
Yep 13 games but its not letting up it looks like its getting better. Im not sure if this game will be turn base or not but Im sure I'll buy it along with the second one coming to PS3 also FF Versus 13. Not sure when the game will be out but Im saying 09 at least but still a good game to get hyped on.

Any other game you want to know more about post and if I have any info to give or my own personal feed back I'll tell you. Just don't get basketball, I owned NBA Live 08, NBA Game of the Week, and College Hoops 2k7 all were terrible, besides Game of the Week that was good, but you could only play season mode once before having to start all over, if they linked multi seasons like they do with football games it would have been great since you have to create a player and can upgrade his skill.

I had it all up in like 10 minutes it wasn't that much since I can type without looking at the keys, which helps the words a minute you can type. But of those games Ive played them all a little bit but if you do get a PS3 Heavenly Sword, Haze, Oblivion, Resistance, and Uncharted are all a good start good ones.

Well when Resistance Fall of Man 2, Haze, and Heavenly Sword 2 come out I'll be there with you. My thumbs sometimes pop real loud when I bend them and when I relax my hands they go into Playstation controller mode, its a perfect fit.

Well I haven't played any other Elder Scroll games but Oblivion is a good one, you should find a place and rent it at least. But Heavenly Sword isn't really that hard, but it does have it moments like with facing Whiptail. Heavenly Sword was to be released on the 360. Im glad that Heavenly Sword isn't like God of War since I didn't really like those games as everyone else does, I love the 3 stances, the auto blocking, the story, and the air combos.

I never played it its multiplayer only game, I heard it was good though but I guess if you liked the PS1 game you'll love the new game. Im mostly into adventure/action games but I hold a special place for horror/survival games which the PS3 lacks right now.

Yeah it gets boring at times but its the first one it was a test to see how it would do. Ive played all of the main ones and I bought Outbreak Files. But Resident Evil 5 is going to be boring I think, its just like RE 4 but with Chris Redfield.

Handles the same, shoots the same, only thing different is the better next gen graphics. I hope the story is a lot better then RE 4 that story sucked. I wish they would bring back the classic RE style, trapped somewhere and you have to escape liek Code Veronica X now THAT was a RE game.

Yeah disc 1 you play as Leon and Ada (some missions you play as Ada) disc 2 Claire who is Chris' sister. I think you can play as a little girl Shelly in her part of the game. Funny thing is that when you play as Leon the police car hits the pole in the front, making him go the long way to the police station, in Claire he does a 180 and the back hits the pole making her go the long way. It sucks! But RE 2 is the only one I have on PS1 and 64. I haven't played 3 in so long but the 2nd RE movie is more like the 3 the monster Nemesis is in the game but the bad thing is it gives prompts sometimes to fight him or run.

Assassin's Creed is alright I had fun at some parts the others (at least 90% of the game) wasn't worth the hype. I say its average, not terrible or good. Story is terrible though I hope they make a 2 and make the story better.

I might get it right now my list of games is set: Stranglehold, Kane and Lynch Dead Men, Uncharted, Haze. After that Im not sure what games I'll get. But Army of Two looks cool, Im going to have to look it up some more before Im sure I want the game or not. Looking up footage has only let me down twice:

Call of Duty 4 and Assassin's Creed, but they didn't show COD 4's online cause if they did I wouldn't have bought it, cause of its terrible online play and footage doesn't tell about Assassin's Creed's story line. All the sites I went to didn't say that your a modern guy who is kidnapped by scientest to read the memory of your assassin forefather and that the game switches back and forth, it was stupid but the game play is alright but you might like it.

Not really the game shows it within the first 10 mins before that its nothing close to the real game. I hated doing all the training missions though and the fact I knew how to climb in the game but the prompt kept coming up (you can't move during it)

all in all i love all of those games...so far a tie between GH3 and LAIR for my favorite.

oblivion is almost impossible to beat mabye you did the main quest but what about all the side qusets and tasks that are all over the world you did not beat the whole game in this amount of time it's near **** impossible i only know one person the beat the elder scrolls morriwind(the thrid installment of the series) and that was five years after it was relesed

Why, well why not. I don't really play them that much and when I do its a long time in between. Ive only played FF x-2 like 3 times and if I restart where I left off I'll be lost and take about a week to figure out where to go next. I only get guides for RPG games or games I know I'll need them for: Oblivion, Silent Hill Origins (after SH 2 with the clock puzzle Im not taking chances) and Folklore, those are the only ones I need.

I say Oblivion could be ment to played with a guide. Ive owned FF X and X-2 since the release and the farthest Ive gotten is 10% with 88 hours in them. I don't have a guide for any of them so I gave up on both.

Should be Im almost sure its going to be an online game. It wouldn't make sense to have a fantastic shooter and not be able to play others.

Nah just Assassin's Creed.....for now. But I just got Uncharted which I forgot came out the 17th or today first time ever that I missed a release date for a PS3 exclusive and the last time (well for a game I want).

You should get Uncharted Drake's Fortune if you get a PS3. Its the first game ever to use 50% of the PS3's power and from what Ive heard to use a full layer of bluray.

Previews and footage were right on the money Im in a temple trying to find the way out and so far Ive enjoyed the graphics like Folkore the backgrounds and detail are outstanding and I don't have a HD tv which is bad since the game is at an output of 720p.

I have no life man, video games are my life just that I don't spend as much time as he must have to beat Oblivion. I play this game for x amount of hours then switch. The longest streak has to be Heavenly Sword from start to a little after midway solid. Took me 5-6 hours.

Yeah I did too, I should work on the PSP of Gun which you can upgrade weapons and it handles so nicely on it as well. Graphics are just as good as the PS2 game.

Well PS3 is getting 2 FF games I think around the same time FF XIII and FF Versus XIII so far both trailers are great looking but theres no release date cause everyone knows that FF has a long history delays.

all the FF games are now just try and suck money out of the fans

but i will say that some of the games are good

Well FF 13 looks really good but get an intercooler I just got one today. 5 fans and you can change the speed of them if your PS3 gets hot and turn the fans down when its not as hot.

Make sure you get Kane and Lynch Dead Men too, its pretty fun but it still can't replace a lot of my games.

The only roblem I have with the PS3 is the online i cant stand all the logitech and bluetooth headsets there to comlicated to use and there all wireless which makes it worse

Wow settle down man! Im a Sony fan boy as much as others but I don't hate microsoft. It does get under my skin that people say PS3 is a terrible system (knowing that they never even played one on display). I do hate that you pay for online (another reason I don't own one, online game play should be free to everyone)

Assassin's Creed I must say is terrible, I was bored all the way and I can't wait till Haze comes out Dec 4th that is going to be the best game on PS3 (or 2nd to Heavenly Sword).

But to be honest game companies prefer Sony like Naughty Dog, Insomnia, Rockstar (their making a new game series for Sony), etc. Its because Sony helped them get their start and the newer companies like Factor 5 are hoping for the same thing.

We'll have to see if that game is any better then Kane and Lynch thats a great co op game, Army of Two doesn't come out until March 4th, 2008. Till then go out and get Dead Men, shooting is great on PS3 L2 aims and R2 shoots how can it get any better?

The storyline was terrible who wrote it, the people that wrote The Blair Witch Project? I was expecting a game in the 1300s not a game that switches from the 1300s to a more modern future. I admit it was fun for almost an hour then it became so boring it killed me inside. The killings got boring same thing over and over pretty much and nothing to break the action with which made it as boring as English class.

I loved Heavenly Sword it was perfect have you ever got into God of War? Everyone that likes God of War likes Heavenly Sword (the combos are the best way to fight and Twin Twang is the best game moment of 07 for me).

Haze isn't the Halo of PS3, it was going to be on the 360 and PC along with PS3 but the 360 wasn't powerful enough to handle the game so they scraped the 360 and PC ports of the game. It was going to be a timed release on the PS3 till they found that out and made it a PS3 exclusive. I guess Ubisoft is alright after all, even though I hate Assassin's Creed which was going to be only on PS3 I guess giving us a more then better game just for us makes it up to me.

The next game im getting for the s3 is Drakes fortune but is it online graphics look sick and i love games that take place in the jungle

To answer your first question I don't know I don't have a 360. You pretty much click online and it connects you.

No you don't need to buy anything to get online. PS3 has built in Wi-Fi, you can get online right out the box. But you have to be near someone that has wireless internet so you can bum off their connection. If you don't then your going to have to buy a router.

After a lot of false rumors Ive seen on messageboards Im going to end them by what I know from what I heard on Sony's website, fans, and people at GameStop.


Truth about PS3:
20 GB didn't sell so Sony ended the run not for the rumor that they didn't want a 60 and 20 GB console out. Why spend money on something that doesn't sell at all?

Sony ended the 60 GB console that is the only one right now with 100% backwards capacity. They stopped the run cause the chip that installed that made PS1 and PS2 games playable was costing too much, so to lower the price from $600 to $399 they stripped it out. I heard that Sony is planning to make patches you can download for the newer consoles to be at 100% or 90%.

If you hear something let me know so I can look into it and see if I can find the answer.

Haze got pushed back for the second time to Q1 2008. I hope its early January the game so far looks great and if Ubisoft is trying to find a way to screw the game up cause it could get on xbox and pc as well I will set their headquarters on fire!

Also Beowulf is a really, really fun game! Rent it or just buy it, the price dropped to $20 so what can you loose? It has a God of War feel from the button action scenes with the fight with Grendle. The grab kills are brutal!!!!

Well it depends really ps2 is about $80 now so they wouldn't take off a lot the price, you may have to throw in some games to get it cheaper. 40gb is a good enough deal as it is at $399. Games are $60 ($65.81 with taxes where I live, shows how much I buy games to give them exact change).

Both were the biggest let downs in video games for me. I traded in Call of Duty 4 cause online completely sucked in my view, and for Assassin's Creed I have never got bored of a game where killing people was the main goal. The sci-fi storyline was trash, and the entertainment level drained after an hour of playing it. Its all the same, nothing to break up the same thing over and over.

Both were the biggest let downs in video games for me. I traded in Call of Duty 4 cause online completely sucked in my view, and for Assassin's Creed I have never got bored of a game where killing people was the main goal. The sci-fi storyline was trash, and the entertainment level drained after an hour of playing it. Its all the same, nothing to break up the same thing over and over.

Online for COD4 is great, but the fact it has no ability to play online split screen, or co op mode online is pretty garbage. And the fact that if one person has dial up everyone just glitches around like pacman. :(

I love that game, best game ever and I can't wait for Heavenly Sword 2 as well as Resistance 2. But look up Haze it looks so great.

We may have lost the exclusive titles as GTA, Devil May Cry, Silent Hill, and Resident Evil but thank god for small companies and a great system.

Well with it being $50 more then a 360 (40 gb vs the 20 gb) it is a good deal. Plus the newer models can play some of the PS2 games, I just got the ones at launch cause I can play ALL past PS games, though it did cost me $600 to do so, but I stick with it with no regrets.

But if you do get a PS3 get Heavenly Sword, Resistance, and Uncharted. They are the 3 great games of it. There is Assassin's Creed that you may what to look at, Im to picky so I didn't like the game.

I would have to say get Heavenly Sword as well as Uncharted. I would say Folklore but the game isn't for everyone, some love (being me) and some hate it. If you can rent it I say rent it first. Folklore is my 3rd favorite game on the PS3 right now behind Heavenly Sword (best game Ive ever played) and Drake's Fortune.

Get Drake first cause the game is great, its longer then Heavenly Sword, and the graphics are better. I guess I like Heavenly Sword cause of the sword, story, voice acting, and the combat in it.

I think it looks that way too, in fact its at the same level. So far its boring at first it was mind blowing if the story doesn't pick up I might just do online for a while then return it. Its pretty much the same types of match, capture the flag, capture the flag with vehicles, destory core, etc.

The intro was great cause it has to do with an alien invasion which I hope I get to play cause it was like Resistance. I heard the timed exclusive was for at least a year.:icon_woow

No theres none for me, though I have the 60gb console. I was playing Resident Evil Director's Cut which was released in 1997 and The Bouncer released in 2000. I bet the people who buy them now are buying them thinking they can play any past PS game. 80 gb plays a lot of the PS2 games the 40 plays most of the PS1 games. Only the 60 and 20 gb play all past games.

Haze was pushed to March 18th after its Nov 20th date, then Dec 4, then Jan 15. It will or should be out before Vegas 2 so I don't need to stand in line at a gun shop to raid and force Ubisoft to release it. After all the pushes they could at least give us a ****ing demo of it.

Nah it was going to be on 360, PC, and PS3 its just on PC and PS3 now. WE should be mad 360 stole DMC, RE, SH, and GTA to be on their system as well....but we have Crysis in 09.

Pro Street is the best racing game till GT Prolog comes out. Its just a small taste of the game but for $40 you get 56 cars and 20 tracks, so Im getting it and then the full game when it comes out! I had Pro Street on its release date, heres the best cars for each race type to me:

Grip-> Evo
Drag-> Supra
Drift-> RX-7
Speed-> Lambo, Skyline, or that 700 grand car.

I beat it a few days ago for the first time (too many games are coming out so that delayed me a lot) but after I downloaded the patch theres a few new races and new cars (1 or 2 of them are free).

I'll just download the demo of J2 to see if I like it. I played the Turok demo to me it was nothing but good graphics. Seems like it would get old as dust after a few hours.

Like what? COD4 has better gfx and fps on PS3, so has Pro Street, so has Skate, so had DiRT, and so many more games. The only game i've discovered is the same on PS3 and it is on X360 is Juiced 2 and that's only because it was built for the X360 and just converted to be played on PS3, that's why it has such poor graphics (well, compared to the rest of the PS3 games out at the moment).

Btw, i've been playing the DMC4 demo for quite a bit, and it's brilliant, can't wait for the full game to come out. I also tried Turok but you were right Ibanez, it has good graphics but that's all it's good for.

Heavenly Sword
Folklore (may want to rent in case you don't like it)
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Ninja Gaiden Sigma (trust me it will take a while to beat)
UT3 (I just traded mine in, got bored of it. Won't be on 360 till next year with lots of things removed)
Resistance and Resistance 2 (2 will have 60 player online matches)
Racket and Clank

Those are the good games that are out (minus Resistance 2). 2008 its too long so just look for my "Early News of 2008" to get the low down on PS3 games coming out later this year.......tons and tons of them (I didn't list them all).

I mostly use my PS3 for multi platform games since anytime I want to take it online I can and I love the controler can't wait for the Dual Shock 3 though.

Yeah, it should come out soon, they had a fight with the company that makes the rumble parts but no fret they settled everything and came to a new deal and contract. Ive seen the ads for them in promos for Haze, they injected the SIXAXIS with Nector, they also injected the PS3 with Nector thus the price drop.

Oh speaking of the PS3, Im the first person you should talk to about them. I know a TON. You should spend the extra $100 on the 80 gb cause it plays most of the PS2 games but none of the PS1 while the 40 gb plays most of the PS1 games but none of the PS2 discs (or so Ive heard). Pros of it is you can upgrade the hard drive in a snap, I have the 60 gb console (plays any and all PS games) but I took the factory drive out and installed a 500 gb in.

The past models the 60 is better then the 20 only due to the fact the 60 has wifi built in where the 20 doesn't. If you can find a 60 or 20 model get it without thinking twice, their the only ones with the chip in them that allows 100% BC.

Well, try and get a 60GB if you can. They don't make them anymore but if you can get a pre-owned one go for it, just stay as far away from the 40GB as possible. I don't know what the 80GB is like though, we don't have them over here yet, but someone told me it's just a 40GB with a bigger harddrive.

EDIT: Just go to any computer shop. The PS3s stock harddrive is a 2.5" SATA drive. I keep thinking about upgrading the harddrive but i don't think i need to, 60GB is enough for me, i've had the PS3 since June and i still have 40GB left and everything i need.

Yeah I liked UT but I traded it in I played the campain to long and it was just like online. For Uncharted after you kill someone you can get ammo from their guns.

2 is only on 360, I don't know why its back on 360 since the first one on xbox got terrible reviews and sold like crap, Sigma came to PS3 got better reviews and sold a lot better. I might check out 2 as well but the wondering why its not coming to PS3 as well will never get out of my head.

Theres new things in Sigma, better controls, and levels not in the xbox one....plus better camera angles for the most part.

I agree that Heavenly Sword is short but come on the game is LIKE CRACK! Iv beat it at least 12-14 times and Im still not tired of the game. Its at least a rental, now Im going to have to play that game, then Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and then Bullet Witch.

Well I understand since you only have 1 game its not needed to have a big hdd. I have 28 games so I need it. But for good games all are good, Heavenly Sword and Drake's Fortune are the 2 best games if you ask me. But all games are good, but you may want to download the demo or rent; Timeshift, Folklore, Stranglehold, and Beowulf. Those games are hit or miss, but Folklore is addicting. My brother in law still has my copy and Im tempted to buy it again to play it cause Ive played the 2 demos so many times and I just want to pick up where I left off.

Really all the games are fun, even Lair (which people hated, I loved it got gold in all missions then traded it). I would suggest you rent that cause I don't want you to burn money on a game your sure to hate.

I played the demo and hated every minute of it, I didn't even get that far before I said "Screw this".

I loved the idea in timeshift of being able to pause and reverse time but i thought the game was too bland as well and the time bar was too short. I might pick up Orange Box after my b-day, but i'll be getting Skate and Burnout: Paradise for my b-day so they should (hopefully) occupy me for a bit :D.

Yeah Heavenly Sword is short but it has the best storyline, controls, idea, and movie like voice acting (you can't find a better voice acting game). Ive beat it at least 12 times and Im still not sick of it cause its so greatly made. Heavenly Sword 2 can't improve on it just make it longer.

Assasin's Creed is fun but it later turns to a dull after a while cause of the "future" things in it. You'll be playing and after the mission it skips parts to take you where you have to be which is the dumbest **** ever! Jumping from the past to the future is terrible. I didn't have it longer then a week before I took it back to trade it in.

You can always wait for Killzone 2 or MGS 4 but thats 2 months away or get Devil May Cry 4.

I didn't much like Heavenley Sword. It just seemed like a nowhere-near-as-good knock-off of Devil May Cry.

"no where as good"? Heavenly Sword first of all is nothing like DMC nor GoW (though in every review they said God of War more times then Nariko and Heavenly Sword). First of all the controls are about combat not hack and slash, tons of great creative things (3 stances to attack in, speed and power stances block a certain attack from others, "rebound" recover, great air combos, style counter kills, the list goes on).

DMC and GoW can't come close to the storyline, voice acting, nor combat Heavenly Sword had in the game. Not to mention Kai and playing "Twin Twang" (best game moment of 07 for me).

How does THIS come close to DMC anyway?

^At 30 seconds the player missed the power stance button to finish the combo.
At 33 seconds Im not sure why the screen goes black for a moment.
