I've hooked up a skater chick. The big turn off for me was that her legs were all bumpy. From hitting her shins so much from skating. Funny thing was that I told her I knew that she skated. My girlfriend tried skating about three years ago, she wasn't 'skater looking' or anything mind you, she just skated (or at least tried to since she would only skate like three or four times per month) because she wanted to experience it. No I would not, I've disliked a lot of the skateboarders I've met in person. I know one girl who skates, and I've been in a skatepark with another girl who was very good, and they both striked me the same way.

It has its pros and cons. A girlfriend skater would be sweet since she could be more of a part of your life (unless you look to skateboarding as a means to get away from everything). But it can suck since she could get hurt and you wouldn't want that, or maybe because she'll be around too much when you just want to release stress on the board. I don't know but I would definitely try it out.
