this trick is quite a difficult one to master so dont get worried if you dont get it first go, also having the kickflip, pop shuvit and varial will help you master this trick.

360 flip guide:

1) Go at a pretty fast speed. Not too fast... But not too slow.

2) Put your front foot before the middle of the board and have it on a 45 degree angle. Your back foot has to be setup so the very edge of the ball of your foot is on the tail. Like a shove-it.

3) Sweep your back foot in the opposite direction you are facing, give it an aggresive scoop to start off with just until you get the feel for the motion.

4) At the same time let your front foot flick straight off the corner of your board where the concave starts. If your goofy it will be the right side, regular would be the left side.

5) After doing this let your board rotate under you until you see the board folding up to your feet.

6) Catch the board and land solid avoiding wheel bite.

Good tip. And is that you in the video? Because who ever it was, that was a REALLY clean tre flip. And if you can only get the board to 270 try popping the board up a lil bit more.

Very possible. That's what I do....Learn my tricks stationary, and gradually pick up speed.

noooo...don't jump to the side. that's not cool. i had to fix mine cause i was doing that. scoop it, concentrate on keeping it under you, and JUMP. I had problems learning to jump when i popped it. also, the front foot hardly does anything in this trick, its mostly back foor work.

i have a question about how to spin the board. for those of you who can actually land it: do you guys focus spinning the board back behind you with you back foot, or more of a pushing it forward kind of motion. ok, i don't think that last sentence made any sense. let me try again. do you guys push your back foot straight back to spin the board or push back and a little forward (forward as in the direciton you're going towards the nose). and do you guys help spin the with your front foot? or just use it for flipping?

I've got them higher now. I'd say this trick is not really in the upper body. Actually, I try to relax with my upper body and just scoop my back foot hard and flick it out.

I Landed My First Tre About A Weak Ago

well ive been able to land sketchy tres about 1/12 trys but my friend is telling me it sucks bc my i cant catch my tre flips high and i never roll away bc the rotation isnt a full 360.. but when i do the full 360 spin it usually goes behind me or doesnt flip all the way.... any tips on catching them and rolling away

I know I can land these..it's just my flick. No matter where I put my front foot, I always get a half flip and I land it upside down. I get a fast scoop, it does the full 360 and comes around, and when it's time to land it's only half flipped. Any suggestions? And don't tell me to put my feet together on the tail. lol

it gives you easier rotation. i myself find fakie bigspin flips much easier, and they look kinda cool, cuz most kids do tre's instead, so they're like, SWEET! i always land tre's upside down :(

when ever i do a tre flip my front foot always lands on the nose and my back foot in the middle somewhat close to the front. how can i prevent this?

yer 360 flips are pretty hard but once you get them they feel awesome

i just learned varials and now i'm so used to the rotation of varials, i can't get the full rotation for 360 flips...

^thats probably cus ur trying to do it just like a varial but scooping harder, let me tlel you, you really dont need to scoop very hard. watch the video the guy posted up there^, that helped me alot.

okay watched a bunch of videos on tre's...
the most helpful tips for me were:

-bend low, and make sure u get a lot of height
-tuck in ur back leg (the person who said this said it gave more pressure to the scoop, it's been working for me)
-and wind up ur body, this really helps if your not getting the full rotation of the spin

i've been working hard on them lately and i was wondering if you guys had any tips for getting your back foot on because most of the time i get a really nice flip and land with only my front foot, so any tips?

very simple tip still senseful though. but i land one foot on the nose and one on the bolts? so how can i solve that? i can land fakie tres near bolts somewhat consistently

Thanks man, I really needed to know where to put me front foot at. Like I have noticed that if I put my front foot closer to the bolts then its going to flip slower and I would have more control doing it. When I put my front foot lower down then it spins quicker, but less control.

I hope by the end of the year I can get these better pat down.

wah, if you are not able to land 360 shove it, will u be able to land tree flip? btw i'm able to land 360 shove it in fakie stance but when i try normal, my front foot ALWAYS goes to the nose not to the bolts!
I dont know if you guys already saw a different kind of shove it, like with open legs, it looks better, like more style. So, i've just learned those another kind of shove it, and my friends said me thats the way of tree flip, i need jump high to land it, however its so hard to do anything with your front foot if you jump so high, i'll be only able to scoop, but unable to do anything with your front foot.
Well, the last doubt, the back foot scooping motion, is it to your back or you're supposed to turn your back foot ankle forward, like... you scoop to your back but at the same time you turn your ankle like pushing the board forward, if you guys can help me, i will be thankful!
