Novice Game of SKATE - Which would consist of tricks that are tough, but not the 'extreme' tricks like gazelles, 540 flips etc. (360 flips, hardflips, tricks like them)

Anyone signing up, already know the rules but here's a reminder of the game rules, so read carefully.

1. All tricks must be done rolling.

2. Once the board leaves it wheels, it must land on all four wheels. No rail landings, manual landings, caspers, or 50-50s. No hands on board. No hands or feet on the ground, before or after trick.

3. When matching or setting, the trick must be done fairly clean. No toe-drag, the skater must be moving, with both feet solid on the board. You cannot stop and then tic tac away, you must land and roll away.

4. When you are selected to set, you have 2 days to set a trick, if you fail to set the trick you will be given a letter.

5. Players are given 4 days to match the trick, this can be made shorter when there are fewer players in the game, failing to match the trick also results in a letter.

6. No trick can be set more than once.

7. The game is run by the Central Europe time zone (GMT+1), so all tricks much be matched and set by the time stated in Central Europe time.

8. When you match or set a trick, post it up in the thread called 'NOVICE GOS - Tricks' thread, this makes the tricks easier to locate instead of sorting through millions of pages of discussion.

9. When you match or set a trick, after you have landed the trick you must make the sign that is shown below, in front of the camera, any tricks without the sign will not be included.

10. You must roll away in the same position as the trick that has been set.

The difference of time zones doesn't change anything since setting / matching times represent the same amount of days for everyone, therefore everyone has the exact same amount of time to submit their tricks, regardless of the time it is when the delays begin / end. Also most of the players are from the US and live in the same time zone so it shouldn't be a problem at all really ;)

Anyway I updated my post on the first page and put the scores into my sig, everyone has to match a backside flip by friday, 1 AM Central Europe Time (GMT+1). Good luck :)

I was planning on matching it on thursday, because of the whole "My hip is still dislocated" thing, but now I can't find a single trace of my camera. Hopefully i'll find it by thursday/friday morning.

yeah, but you've missed all the sign-ups anyway. But stay here and post other places, post some videos and pics and get to know people, then by the time the new sign-ups are up, you should be able to join and play!

Got my match on film. I had to do a kickturn right after i landed to avoid hitting a truck, haha. If you want me to get a cleaner one, first i'll kick you in the balls, then i'll go try and film another.

It took me 122 tries to get this. Non stop trying for 10 minutes, i was so tired. It's 40 degrees and i was sweating! that's why i will kick you in the nads. haha.

Not really a hospital late flip, I consider that a hospital double flip. For it to be late, you'd have to do the 2nd flip with your backfoot or at least in a different motion, correct?

I might be able to get it, i've got hospital flips pretty wired but I can't get them high, so idk if i'll be able to throw in that extra flip.

but its not double because its half kick 1 1/2 under(heelflip direction) flip...
its in one motion, but the flip is still late, because i kick one way for the kickflip, and then kick back for the late flip

Guys, they really aren't that hard, you just have to have the normal hospital flip motion down. Trust me, I do these all the time trying to do a normal hospital flip. :\


But good set 7even, I'm glad other people can do them.

its in one motion, but the flip is still late, because i kick one way for the kickflip, and then kick back for the late flip
You do that for a normal hospital flip anyway. All your doing is a hospital flip, but you do the flicking back hard enough that it flips 1 1/2 times instead of just half a flip. There's nothing late about it.

But yeah, I can kinda get these, I always land on it upside down though because I cant pop flip tricks very high.
