I have been swamped with so much homework and I got a game tonight as well.

Really frustrating trick too because partly I couldn't land it on camera. I landed it and rode away cleanly the first 10 minutes of trying this.

Hmm well I think learners would be a bit too easy for you maybe, you're probably like in between learners and beginners, i'm not sure though, you're more beginner then learner so meh, I can't land a lot of tricks but the tricks I do know im consistent with them and can land them clean, so I appear better then I actually am although I'm probably up to novice, I think i'm gonna start playing novice gos after this though but i'm kinda like not good enough for novice it's weird lol

i think after this i will try learners out if i demolish them i will come up to beginners if im about even then ima stay there

Wow, ermmm Paul J I hate to be such a hard ass, but I'm gohing to ask if you could re match. When I first learnt this trick I could do the same thing you did but I worked hard for the full rotation. If you learnt that it won't be much harder to get it full. Could you please re match it with more rotation :icon_bunc? You had 90 degrees only with a revert, but I think that makes the trick too easy....I'm sure you could do it. You already got the hard part down.

I got a PM about the back heel issue asking for my opinion on Paul J's match, and in all honesty I think he should rematch, because it was pretty much a heelflip with a few degrees of extra rotation, landed on all four wheels then ticktacked out, and skatinkrazy specifically stated that he wanted the rotation to be as complete as possible, so it's a no go. But I wouldn't have counted skatinkrazy's set either, because even though he got more rotation, he basically landed stationary and had to ticktack away in order to keep rolling. Then again I'm used to the strict rules in Advanced Game of SKATE, so I don't know. Paul J, just do the same thing with a slightly better rotation like skatinkrazy did and it will count I guess.

Personally I sitll don't think it should count but I don't want to be a hard ass and make a big deal. Was still underrotated, big toe touch, and no roll away (but my roll away wasn't anything special either).

I made the rule for double forward flip hoping you'd get the message to wait til next round ;) Nightmare flip is definitely legit. I really don't think forward flip is for this round, but I don't wanna seem like I'm not letting you set it because I can't do it so it's up to you. Use your judgement.

Ok, I've got my match and I take back what I said about it being easy, it's only easy on a bank. It took me many tries to get a clean one without toe touch, and for some reason everytime I went to catch it in the air, the board would bounce off my feet :( oh well i got one in the end.

Oh, lmao, I got one before the one i filmed and I forgot to put a handsign, so I had to land another one and it took ages again haha

Everybody else, I filmed my match yesterday. I have one with no toe touch but ugly landing (no violations, just ugly). And another which was nice. It looks like I toe touched because I reposition my feet but I didn't at all, and I have smooth roll away. I will post them up soon.

that isn't a forward flip, but a front foot varial flip XD
they're both basically the same.. but the forward flip is more vertical and kind of different

It's a varial flip, I had a discussion with some members some time ago about this. They basically said that it's only a forward flip when done vertical. If it's not vertical it's a varial flip.

oh well varial will work just to keep me in it but i swear u just did it with ur front foot i couldnt get a gay nollie 3 shuv cause my feet where wet that was on accident

Don't you think nollie pressure hardflip is a little bit too hard for Beginner Game of SKATE? I mean, it's nollie and it's a trick that flips around two axles. This is still second round right?

Idk...I mean we made chamaleon not set his forward flip.....I usually leave the udgement up to the skater because I don't liek to seem harsh and stuff because I can't do a trick. Looks like chamaleon had good judgement while tohers didn't......:tongue:

EDIT: But what I do have to do is make the matching time start from when the matching time for playa's set was over. So matching time will start at 11:30am tomorrow. He just set early.

Well guys, I just woke up and I was in a good mood and thinking that his nollie thing set was fine. I mean FS flip is way too easy to down grade too. So if he wants the first set weas fine, I never disaprroved. Either works for me, up to you.

aww :) are you sure? I was a bit depressed with the frontside flip lol, if it's ok can I go with the nollie thing then? seeing as there's only 5 of us left now and it's really not a hard trick. Give it a try bro :( just put your front foot right on the left side of the nose kinda pointing forwards and then put your back hoot hanging off the board like a heelflip, then just pop down diagnally like you're gonna do a pop shuv and lift your back foot off the board, then just jump back a bit...

ive never came close to this before and ive tried pressures all diff ways

i hate this trick.. i always land with the board upside down :(

Amen to that, I lost Paul when I saw the title, netherless the video

Oke doke, Ok you want the ball of your foot to be on the very edge of the left side of the nose with your toes pointing kinda forward. Back foot needs to be hanging off the board like a switch heelflip position (you'll be able to see the stances in my video).

Now all you need to do is turn and face forward and then pop the side of the nose down diagnoly so that the board starts to turn the rotation, and then jump and lift your back foot off the board to get it out the way. then just jump back a bit to stay over the board and wait for it to flip the rotation and then land.

NOTE: This is a pressure flip so your foot might need to be on the nose when it strikes the ground so that it flips, otherwise it won't flip the whole way round.

i actually got the rotation but i kinda just pushed the board down and stood there so i made some progress

just keep watching my video and then see what you're doing differently

Also, joining your gos here put you front foot pointing forward and just the outside edge of your big toe and ball of your foot on the dip in the concave, then scoop in a little bit as you do it, really easy trick once your understand them.

It helps if you own the worlds largest big toe, like young edwin here, it's like an extra foot.

I'm a middie. Middie is the hardest position too because they run the most by far. Attackmen are pansies haha :tongue:, they are no guts all glory. They don't do anything.

You already told us about the fakie double flip :p Yeah, get a cleaner one befoe you set it lmao. I will start working on those now. Also, I just had a sesh in my Nana's garage for my set and was close. I think I will land it tonight and if not tonight then Sunday or Staurday night (Saturday I'm busy all day).

Oh damn.....the trick I was trying to set I couldn't get today, and my ankle is killing me now because I flicked so much with it and it usually never flicks (it was nollie). Now I have 2 lacrosse games tomorrow and I am going to go into them with a sore right ankle....=/

I will give this set another go, and if I don't get that then possibly another trick. And if that one doesn't work I get creative. If whatever that is doesn't work, I have an emergency back up set haha.

microwave em till their warm, then wear them around for a little bit till their completely cold. half an hour or so. It really does help out.

My set is up, switch varial flip. I couldn't get it nollie so I set it switch. I had crappy roll away so I will be leniant on that, but it should count considering the other BGOS has lots of no roll away tricks. It was rotated about 150 degrees so I will ask for it to be 145 or more. Good luck guys :icon_hug:
