Alright everyone, NGOS 2 is now in session!

Another reminder about the rules:

1. All tricks must be done rolling.

2. Once the board leaves it wheels, it must land on all four wheels. No rail landings, manual landings, caspers, or 50-50s. No hands on board. No hands or feet on the ground, before or after trick.

3. When matching or setting, the trick must be done fairly clean. No toe-drag, the skater must be moving, with both feet solid on the board. You cannot stop and then tic tac away, you must land and roll away.

4. When you are selected to set, you have 3 days to set a trick, if you fail to set the trick you will be given a letter.

5. Players are given 4 days to match the trick, this can be made shorter when there are fewer players in the game, failing to match the trick also results in a letter.

6. No trick can be set more than once.

7. The game is run by shorty's_kid's time zone! (GMT-5)

8. When you match or set a trick, post it up in the thread called “Novice Game of SKATE 2 tricks thread” this makes the tricks easier to locate instead of sorting through millions of pages of discussion.

9. When you match or set a trick, after you have landed the trick you must make the sign that is shown below, in front of the camera, any tricks without the sign will not be included.

10. I would just like to emphazise this, NO TOE OR HEEL TOUCHES NO MATTER WHAT! Please try and set and match as cleanly as possible. If your toe or heel touches, don't even bother posting it, IT WILL NOT COUNT!

^Nah, I was laughing because you begged me to put you in the first 5 so you could set, and the exact opposite happened. Had I not let Honeymustard in, you would've been the very last. Which to me, is just downright hilarious.

360 underflip...... mine looks like a tre kind of, but if you watch my front foot i never actually flick with it and my back foot does all the work

That was a horrible angle for that trick, its ok if you leave that one, but there isn't a possibility you can get one from the side, is there?

no probably not today, it's a 360 underflip, you don't have to worry, i felt my back foot flip it up

maybe tomorrow ill get a different angle, but just keep this one for now

I looked at one slow mo. It looks like you kinda start a kickflip then get your backfoot under the board to flip tre style?

^Nah, all the flip's gotta come from your back foot, you gotta scoop it in just a way to get your back foot underneath the tail so you can flick up and flip the board.

What's REALLY the bummer is that in this area, for every neighborhood of trailers/small houses, RIGHT next to it is something huge.

1 mile up the road from my trailer-park-ish-type-road, there is a big neighborhood. Price of the smallest house was probably around $230,000.

Another neighborhood near me, average house and land price is from $40-$80 thousand. There are two entrances to the nieghborhood, at the end of one, the richest neighborhood in the county, and the 3rd richest neighborhood in the county. At the other entrance, you guessed it, the 2nd riches neighborhood in the county.

Just try to remember guys, nothing TOO advanced for the first round. Don't bring out the HARD tricks until the 2nd round. 1st round is just supposed to be somewhat of a challenge, but nothing serious.

My match is up now. Its a little sketchy but oh well. And I know my front foot flicks forward a little, but that's a natural motion for me. It even does it on pop shuvits, it didn't help flip the board at all.

not to be a dickhead, but i dont think that counts... you fell off with one foot and pretended to push... but sionce that was 4th try, you shouldnt have problems redoing it

I'm not in this game so I cant effect much but I don't think theres anything wrong with sk's match. He did push after the land but, he was ridding away normally and if would lose balance he could easily put his backfoot on tail and pivot. At least it looked like he would roll away normally.

can you only do switch ones with a body varial, i'll admit they are easier that way.

As far as i can do normal toe flips, you have to place your foot like not in the concave place thing.. they flip perfectly for me when i place my foot like half on my bolts.. but maybe that's just me ;)

Due to the weird slants that my driveway has, where I was during the trick, I was going uphill. Kind of had to push. (You can see how I slow down dramatically as I roll up, do the trick, then land and almost come to an instant stop). Its also just a normal reaction for me now, I land stuff then push off (Unless I'm trying to make it look good).



If everyone wants me to re-match, your gonna have to wait until Sunday night at the earliest. Thats when it's supposed to stop raining.

Does this matter or do i have to rematch?

A toe flip is a varial kickflipped.. flipped by putting pressure on the backfoot. You have to place your foot like on the bolts, and then push down very hard and a little backwards.. then it gets a varial flip motion (if you push correcly with the good ammount of force (you gonna have some trouble finding these)). Nollie toe flip is just a nollie varial flip, done with pressure with the front foot on the front bolts :)

it's really not a hard trick, just watch aronls trick tip and apply it to nollie

put your front foot (just toes) heelside of the bolts then drag down and in a semi circle first towards you then toward the middle of the deck, and jump.

There's no need for a lesser matching time.

As an experienced NGOS'er, trust me, in a little bit, you'll be glad you have 4 days. I guarantee there will be some tricks you've never even thought about trying in here.

How about this, I'll lower the setting time to 2 days. Most of you probably have your tricks planned out anyway. Does that work?
