Well i want to give techno a chance to enter my ipod but i don't know how to find any good bands or songs... any suggestions?

Check out the Disco Biscuits. Not straight up electronica in the sense that they are not DJs but, rather, a four piece band (guitar, bass, keys, drums).

check out the electronica section of www.beatport.com if your looking for "bands" but they also have every other kind of dj type music. the songs cost a little more than itunes (most of this you can find on itunes) but the mp3s are 300k and drm free and sound freaking awesome. i personally like electro house the best.

Same with me haha my friend took me to Monster Massive it was soo insane. On the pill i was beside myself...I really couldnt control it for a while it was scary, but the music was unreal and i danced for hours haha

i think when you guys say techno, you really mean electronic music, techno is an actual genre of electronic music, like house or trance.
