but after trying it and skating my qp for about two weeks now, ive learned so much and it's fun as hell

so i suggest if you are a "vert hater" to actually try vert out, i think you will change your mind, if you don't, that's cool to

you just don't see to many people skating vert nowadays, but I STILL LOVE STREET!... just a little bit better than vert

if it's just a 1/4 then it would actually be tranny instead of "vert". Vert needs to have...vert. Atleast like a foot of vertical wall before the coping

I hope the same happens with my friend. He skates street only, sometimes park with me and my other friends, but now he's going to Libya with a pool in his backyard ,which will remain empty.

I love skating mini, i find it easier to learn tricks and more fun to learn, but if i had to choose i'd choose street.

On vert i can only pump im too scared to do anything, but mini is fine and dandy.

i always thought vert was sick but i never got the balls to ride a big bowl until a few weeks ago, and it was probably the best experience of my life.

my skatepark just got a new bowl, not vert but still, it's awesome :icon_mrha

I got into vert cuz my friend said it suxed, now im decent, but I busted my butt one day so I end up just doing what I know now. Havent really tried to progress in it lately. MINI that is.

Vert. I have almost got the nerve to drop in, but I can pump all the way to the coping.

i want to build another qp this summer and build a platform to connect it to the qp i have now making it a mini ramp.... but i have to talk my mom into letting me do it

lol... .miles youve only been on a mini ramp once... and it had ****ty transition... and all you learned how to do was drop in... when you get into the real **** at bellevue tomorrow your gonna have fun

I've tried a mini once didnt like it, but I think it was because I sucked balls at it and my friends were crazy good. So next skate park sesh I will give it another go

i remember staying away from tranny for a long time because i sucked at it and was always embarassed and was afraid but then i decided that everyone hsa to start somewhere and staerted having tons of fun

yeah skatemores setup is sooo sick, he should of made a middle platform and connected the quarters making it an official mini ramp though

id still skate it, but id make the platforms bigger on the top for fs disasters

Tranny is pretty fun. I can only do stalls though :P

Awesome stuff, my only advise is to wear helmet and pad up.

yesterday i went to the local park, and was skating the street, and a lil on the mini...there were some older guys ripping it on the 6ft spine/halfpipe....so i tried it and i have to say its my fav. thing right now...im a bout to quit street, and just ride that and bowls now, cause it was so much more fun

There's a big difference from skating 6' ers to skating vert.

What's wrong with skating both? Usually with me one day I ride tranny and ****, and the next I skate rails and ****.

yeah dude... DONT quit street, you can do both... i actually skate street more than vert

For sure. And the more of both you skate, the more you can take what you learned from one uhm "obstacle" and take it to another. How do you think vert guys can flip in flip out too?

ya sonn mini ramps are ill, I'm just starting to learn them though.

i could spend hours upon hours upon hours skating a miniramp. funnest thing. laid back, less intimidating then vert.

my friend has an empty barn and we're building a miniramp in it. gonna be able to skate during all the ****ty bc rain. gonna be a hoot

I find anything with transition to be a fun time.

i love vert and pools but the biggest problem is that i have to travel really far to find a vert ramp or pool . everything else is mini ramp. The nearest vert ramp to me is BaySixty6 in London and the nearset pool/bowl is Camden park in London and i live about a 45 minute train ride away!! sucks and is expensive!! but if there was a local pool/vert i would be there all day!! in my opinion nothing is sicker then a tweaked BS method on vert!

I'm lucky cuz I live in Oregon, we have the most amazing parks by Dreamland and Grindline here. I just skated the new Tigard park, it's got that dinosaur and volcano kinda like Newberg. Course I can't ride that yet lol.

i havent tried any bowls yet but i like riding on ramps cause i cant do an ollie or anything yet so i find it more fun to just drop in and stuff lol

I can see how people say its not fun but what I don't get is how people can say vert is boring. Its non-stop trick after trick while if you see on tv like x games....

I mean BORING! I would much rather see a good vert trick once then see someones "run" in street anyday, its mostly stop and look at everything after every trick.

Same here. I always thought vert was sick. If I had the balls, I would go and do vert. It looks like so much fun. Just thinking about going that high in the air and just dropping back down, that would be so sick. And its always something different. Always some kind of different grab or flip to grab. Always something cool going on.
