What exactly are the implications of putting "regular trucks" (I think 7.75"?) on a pool deck that tapers from a ~8.3" tail to ~9.0" nose.

I mean, what is it going to hurt as far as speed or stability or what have you...if anything(?)

Ditto for the indys. Sounds like you want 149s. 169s would probably be just a bit wide, but would probably still work.

I've got a pair of indy 169s but thats on a 10" deck their pretty mint trucks but they might be a bit to wide for your deck maybe 149s as said above

My friend has a deck almost the same size as
the one you got. He actually has fury trucks,
but I think that Indys are waaaay better.

been skating indy's since i started. i've got a 9.25 pool deck, thats 8.5 at the tail, and your definantly gonna wanna go with the 169s. they fit mine (9.25 at the front trucks) just a tiny bit narrow, but they'd fit a 9 perfect.

I got a pair of crux and I'm loving them the best out of all my other trucks.

Either one would be fine. They're less than 1/2" different. 169s have 8.9" axles. If you really want to be picky, measure the deck width at the front (inside) bolt holes and try to match that width.

a powell deck with tracker trucks and bullet or powell wheels

i ride indy 149s for street...
and i have 169s on my pool/tranny set up
so id go with the 169's for what you look to have
