rubber-shield side facing out? that little plastic side out? (i have bones reds).

it probably doesn't matter but i'd thought i'd ask anyways.

It does to me. I put the red part out. Only because the red part protects it more (i.e. Shield). If you ride near dirt....it will get in and get dirtier easier. Well thats what I think, but thats just opinon.

I would say no, just because both sides are exactly the same just different colors.

My bones, looked like there was barely any protection on the clear side. Put the red side out, so you know its covered for sure.

(Not that it really matters, once its dirty, its dirty - gonna clean them no matter what way they're facing!!)

Put the red side out. It protects the bearing better.

For Bones and other bearings with the clear "shield" put the red/colored part outside. It is meant to be put that way so that it keeps the dirt out better, the clear side is there so you can take it off and lube/clean easier.
