It looks like a fakie FS shove it to me...what made you think it was a small spin? For small spin you need a body varial in the opposite direction from the board spin, so from fakie you would land in a "regular" stance. FS shove/BS body varial.

You can stick with the fakie FS shove or re-set today or tomorrow.

^^^Edit: I see now how you sort of tried to body varial and landed with feet together in the middle of the board. You'll need to make a more convincing body varial and roll through the landing in that position. (or stick with the fakie FS shove)

What you did was a backside pop shove with a frontside body varial. Whatever you want to call it that's what we'll match. I don't want to confuse, there is a lot of debate on the term for this, but I just call it small spin. Here's a post from RoyalGriffin on this subject...showing the difference between these tricks.

My foot position: Back foot-pop shove position, Front foot- closer to nose than pop shove position. It's very important to jump/stomp BACKWARDS to land it. The board will be behind you.

Those sets were when there was only 2-3 people left. When there is that few, it's anything goes.

And varial flips are definitley learners tricks, I could do those after 2 weeks.

its really not that hard if you just TRY the trick. Just set your feet closer to the middle than a kickflip and go for it!
