Yeh a year ago i saw the whole 2 hour of the video.Though i dont like metal i kinda enjoyed the video, it was instesting.

There were some mistakes in it though. The guitar is not an african instrument, it's from Europe.

yea i seen it, i liked how they went through each type of metal, death, black, thrash, etc...

Wasn't great. I didn't like how they only focused on one band per subgenre. The thrash section was all about Slayer, the death metal section was all about Cannibal Corpse. The black metal section was the most well done. Most of the interviews were good (aside from Slipknot and that dumb little 14 year old girl). The commentary was good and all, but it was just too short to efficiently cover all that they attempted to cover. I loved the end with Master of Puppets though haha.

It was a very well done documentary. Opened a lot of doors for people who aren't familiar with Metal's past and its many genres. Me and my bud are probably heading to downtown Toronto later this month for the opening of Sam Dunn's next instalment into the Metal story.
