All skaters inspire me, high skill level, low skill level, style and no style. The young and the very old, anyone who rides a skateboard. If they skate FS that is just extra cool! Skateboarding offers so much to the human race I am inspired by it all!

I have to agree with KB man. You shouldn't feel that way at all, unless you cheated your way into it which I know you didn't do lol.
And if you feel your letting people down, man you must have proof of that for reals my friend, if its your own feeling, you can't always trust it is right UNLESS ppl have told you otherwise ya know?

Your not taking anyones spot, those who can get sponsored, will, those who want it will get sponsored man so theres no spots being taken. It is your final choice though, it is quite understandable though but we care about you, and we all want what is best for you as well man, keep it up and keep on skating no matter what. I hope you make the right decision man, take care and good luck! Keep us informed on how things are going.

Dylan the reason why I have put you as one of the people who inspire me is because I think that you are a great skateboarder with street and freestyle.
Every time I watch one of your videos it gets me hyped up to go and skate

Who inspires me? If you've done a railstand, casper, 5050, handstand, etc., you've probably inspired me in some way.

People on here that post vids of their first ollies and kickflips.

Reminds you that no matter your skill level just bust your ass and love something and you'll get it, whether it's your first ollie or a nollie laser.

If I were to make a list it would go on for too long, just anybody who innovates, is creative, stylish, technical, etc. There is so much that can inspire you in freestyle it should not just be limited to a few skaters.

I feel like i need to focus far more on street and that if it would be in my best interest to skate as much street as i can. If im sponsored by freestyle and not skating it enough i feel like im letting him down.

That is awesome! Kids are a great inspiration, for anything and for everything we do in our lives.
I love having my kids around me when im freestyling, I figured it would be distracting but it's not surprisingly. I feel more motivated when my wife is there too but mainly, I use my skate time as personal time, but im a family guy so I usually ask them to come outside and get some fresh air lol.

I cant, and dont get inspiration from pro skaters, or watching pro film. How when all you see them do is land the trick. I get inspiration from watching anyone try, try, try, and finnally land a trick.

Tyler Self. Easily one of the coolest guys out there. So good, so humble, so awesome!

I kind of hate to admit it because he's a douschebag but Ryan Sheckler.

When he's on a skateboard he's amazing, you can see the focus and determination he has in his eyes and is able to block out the millions of screaming girls chanting his name, all he cares about at that moment in time is doing what he wants to do on that skateboard.

I also admire local Pro Dan Leech, it's crazy to get to skate with a pro on a weekly basis, really do learn to admire them so much.


Edit: **** I just realised this is about freestyle. Only skater I like that does freestyle is Rodney Mullen so I have to pick him. Seems like a great friendly guy and has amazing talent, enough said.

For me, it's changed somewhat over time. I think it'd be somewhere around Osterman, Flemke, Opperman, and Landry. All have some tricks they really like, and when they do those certain ones it makes me want to learn the trick(s) better.

Just to name a few from here who inspire me, and motivate me to go out and skate til my legs can't handle it anymore and the sweat is pouring out of every gland in my body :)
Of course Mullen, but Chad Muska mainly was the guy who got me REALLY into skating cause he's the first person I saw, but because of his noseslides I used to be really good at them cause of him, then I wanted to try something that no one in my town does so I kept watching videos...found mullen when I was like 11 but didn't have a skateboard til I was almost 13 so I just started watching chad again, then some more mullen and got really into street skating, then freestyle more and more......phew good times back when, hopefully ill have more good times, of course it already started here on SC hehe.

Oh and the whole Go To Sleep team, personal ol friends of mine. Which I will be skating with again I HOPE beginning of July...I think they'll once again, dig my freestyling like the old days I used to skate with all the street skaters haha.
