Haha i wouldnt worry about screwing up your tricks because of your nerves, theres probably going to be quite a few games goin on at the start to narrow down the mass of people entering quickly so the attension shouldn't be all on you.

i think there's certain rules about what tricks you can do, and i've never seen anyone do a pressure in es game of skate so they might not be allowed.

And 01rmck, i'm getting a train from sheffield now, so i'm gonna find a way to get a lift to sheffield station so I can get there earlier.

And i'm doing AS physics at the moment, I should be doing A2 but i didn't do so well last year so i restarted year 12 lol :) and I got a B this year in module 1 woooo

lmao, I think I'm gonna take the piss everyone off approach and set bubbles and nollie pressure hardflips aswell. For my sets I'll be doing 360 shoves, nollie bigspins and shove bodyvarial. Double kickflip will be a good set too I recon. Toeflips if i'm desperate ;)

Haha i'll be doing all of those (apart from toeflips which are still a mystery to me:P) doubleflips are standard in our GOSes, its a great trick. haha i really hope i dont have to play my mate in a round, he does lots of twisted flip variations and stuff haha:D Fakie twisted flips lol the worst trick in the world:) he did a twisted heel last week in a gos-.-i havn't beaten him in ages.

Aparently shuvs and pop-shuvs count as different tricks according to an MRCK thread in the video volt, thats gonna be a pain in the ass, and you're alowed another try on your last letter which seems a bit unnessasarily complicated. Other than that they seem to play by the same rules that i usually do.
Paul i read you don't keep the set aslong as you land it in ur local GOSes, that's gonna be wierd for you, i guess it kinda gives people more of an incentive to do tricks they know they can land if you keep the set.

As for rules, it seems they differ in every country, in Slovenia, you had to pop everything and underflips didn't count(well it said EARLY underflips so I dont really know about kiwiflips, pop shuv late underflips and underflips like that). So basically all bigspins, pop shuvs and stuff had to be popped, which kinda sucked :/

UPDATE: found out paddy WON manchester, and is in the finals! :D

Paddy won the manchester finals and won some cool stuff but he lost in the regional finals. F*cking fun day guys!:D lol at paddys ollie body varials and fakie ollie norths haha:p and Johnnys randomest tricks ever lol. Paul's got video of everybodys rounds so after he edits the hell out of it i'm sure he'll put it up.

Wow what an epic day!

There were like 5 games to start with, 4 people in each game, I was in the second game with jonnym, and paddy and rob (01rmck) were in the third game. Jonny won the game I was in by setting tricks such as hospital heelflip? and late fs shov, bigspin front foot impossible? not sure what they were but I bailed them all, and then the other guys started setting switch flip tricks which KILLED ME :( oh well it was fun. Then paddy won the third game and got into the semi finals. He then won that and got into the final game for manchester with this other dude who was very consistant and landed everything pretty clean, but, he wasn't good at paddys tricks so paddy won! And he got a 1st place card saying he won a pair of shoes, a hoody, and a tee. But he has to send of for them in the mail some time.

The uk finals was pretty lame, consisting of 3 people, paddy didn't do too well, and some other dude who was injured from the start won pretty easily :/ well done to him... lol
