You don't have to do it that way, there is a thing you can install on your pc and you connect your psp and it makes it for you then you can change it back to a normal battery when your done. this is the video I used to do mine: Part 1 (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=INZGW9IJ5D4) Part 2 (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ibQUgOLH31c) Part 3 (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=SeQ002P41dU) Check out that guys other tutorials too, they are unbeliveably awesome, all great quality and you can trust him to know what he is doing... I might have to dl it. The Government 05-24-2008, 03:31 PM I'm planning on modding my PSP. Does making a Pandora battery = you can't use it to power your PSP anymore? DGK-skater13 05-24-2008, 03:32 PM I used to have one, I sold it for a skateboard. Ibanez 05-24-2008, 09:51 PM I'm planning on modding my PSP. Does making a Pandora battery = you can't use it to power your PSP anymore? Well when you make Pandora battery you have the choice to make it on your computer which you can turn back into a normal battery if you want to or if you open it and remove a rod then you can only make it a normal battery by soddering the rod back into place. Its safer to buy one off the internet cause you could brick your psp and the only to unbrick it is with a Pandora Battery. If you have a pandora battery then its not a normal battery cause it forces your PSP into recovery mode. I think it can power a psp but you can get a spair PSP battery pretty cheap. So I would buy a spair and then make that one a pandora battery so if it bricks you can unbrick it saving you the hassle to buy a new one. Shadowskater 05-24-2008, 09:55 PM I don't have one but I use my friend's psp sometimes. I have a DS I got back in 04". I was thinking of getting a mod'd psp though. skateandlive94 05-26-2008, 08:11 AM Well when you make Pandora battery you have the choice to make it on your computer which you can turn back into a normal battery if you want to or if you open it and remove a rod then you can only make it a normal battery by soddering the rod back into place. Ibanez 05-27-2008, 12:04 AM negative if u have pandoras battery thats in service mode, take it out and plug in the adapter, then when it witches on to the xmb, put the battery back in and run pandoras battery creator and change it back into a normal battery Service mode= recovery mode But I still say he should buy or make a spair battery into a Pandora battery cause how can you create a pandora battery without a working PSP? If he bricks his then he can just use the pandora battery run it in recovery mode (aka service mode) and unbrick it and then put the normal battery in and all is good. If he changes it back into a normal one, it gets bricked and he has 2 options, buy a new psp, use the pandora battery creator program to unbrick it OR buy a new psp battery and then open it and create the pandora battery the hard and manual way. Even websites about cracked psp agree its better to have a pandora battery and a normal one. bustedbearings 05-28-2008, 04:31 PM We should do this, like they all do on those psp nerd forums...lol Running 3.52m33-4 Playing The Warriors 4gb Memory Stick Tons of CSO's and: Daedalus, GPsP, and Snesxtyl... skateandlive94 05-31-2008, 01:25 PM bump... rekees 06-04-2008, 10:12 AM Service mode= recovery mode But I still say he should buy or make a spair battery into a Pandora battery cause how can you create a pandora battery without a working PSP? Everyone tell me their favourite PSP game and why. Ibanez 06-22-2008, 06:54 PM or u can get a freidns psp :D What if his friends don't have a psp with the right files on it? Again he would be ****ed! The psp to get it out of the bricked state also has to be on a custom firmwire or on 1.5 other then that Pandora's Battery is the ONLY way. Hey, thought I'd get this thread up and running again. Everyone tell me their favourite PSP game and why. Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core I think it has better graphics then GOd of War WAY better story then God of War More hours to beat then God of War (maybe 3 times as much) Takes place after the Final Fantasy movie Advant Children (I guess FF VII is before) Great combat system (weird at first but after you get used to it, you can't see a FF game without it) skateandlive94 06-23-2008, 02:12 PM Sweet, I've never really been a fan of Final Fantasy but i might give it a go... Ibanez 06-24-2008, 12:57 AM If you haven't been a fan then you might not like it. But I wasn't a big fan of FF games as well. |
