View Full Version : tails and noses??
skalvation 05-19-2008, 09:39 PM so the only pro decks i have had were 2 elements but the nose was alot bigger than the tail.... which is kind of anoying cuz after any spining tricks i have to use the giant nose. What decks have the same or close to same sized tail and nose???
blankdeckz 05-19-2008, 10:03 PM mini logo
AthleteSK8 05-19-2008, 10:04 PM Well man, the nose is supposed to be bigger than the tail.
skalvation 05-19-2008, 10:14 PM ^^well i didnt know if they were or not. cuz i see alot of people who just go either way and it doesnt matter. but my friends decks have the same size nose and tail.
Street>Vert 05-19-2008, 10:15 PM Well man, the nose is supposed to be bigger than the tail.
ur a help to this thread:icon_clap...
anyway man i have a Zero and you can hardly tell a difference... and if you're having a problem from doing like a varial kickflip then having to skate the nose... then why not just give it a little shuv-it? that's what i always do
jon24683210 05-19-2008, 10:16 PM agree with the guy above me
mystery u can also barelyy tell the difference if at all
How long does mini logos usually last if the tail and nose look the same? I might get one pro and one mini for back up this summer if I think my board will break. Just wondering if ML could be compared to a regular deck like Girl, Almost, ect.
skalvation 05-19-2008, 10:38 PM yes for the zero deck. I was planing on getting one of those next
savedskater43 05-19-2008, 10:43 PM mini logos are made by a pro cpmany powell
Jordan G 05-19-2008, 10:48 PM yea the nose is def. bigger than the tail. well sometimes. its depends on he brand.
kflip2curbstomp 05-19-2008, 11:23 PM the brand doesn't really make a difference. it all depends on which decks you buy. if you go to most board companies websites they show you all the different shapes they have.
Shadowskater 05-19-2008, 11:37 PM Most of the blanks I have skate have about the same so you could try a ML, Blackout, ATM, or Goodwood.
Jay Santos 05-19-2008, 11:40 PM So the tail is smaller and less wider then the nose?
fallenNJzero 05-20-2008, 08:35 PM i used to ride zero and i could never tell the difference. boardpusher.com is what im using right now, i have patterns on my board to tell me if its the nose or not, and i still cant tell. so those two are a good choice if your looking for symetry
Vrait 05-20-2008, 08:41 PM So the tail is smaller and less wider then the nose?
Yes, and dude the bigger nose is a good thing. It won't stop you from landing a trick, that would be a skill thing. So just get use to it.
skalvation 05-20-2008, 09:49 PM well i just snaped my old deck at my schools stairs so i need to get a new deck anyway. I think ill go with zero if i get the money
blusher5 06-07-2008, 05:19 PM my older deck has a bigger tail than the nose
thats not good!!:(
I amThe1 inUr80 06-07-2008, 05:27 PM ^then what you think is the tail is probably the nose.
