Meh, it depends. I love all kinds of music, as long as it has a good beat/tune. The only genre I really don't enjoy very much is country... Otherwise, basically every other genre has great music.

Maybe besides grindcore... I don't really understand that stuff...

Yeah I like rap, nothing to be is better then hitting vert or a empty pool listening to a lot of rappers. Tone Loc is the best chill music Ive ever heard when your just carving.

With all the music threads you should know by now that the answer is no. I think it's kind of impossible for someone to listen to one genre. When I was younger I only listened to rap, but when I got older I started listening to Metal, Rock, Punk, Psychedelic, Grunge, Screamo and even Techno.

I'm new here and possibly out of place... also barely a skater. However I listen to mainly Techno, Techno-house and Minimal Techno. That said my lappy is belting out a bit of RUSH (The way the wind blows)

well its not just you but most skaters i must admit do listen to rock, the majority of them, and majority doesnt mean all of them, look it up

it means 50 percent or more..cuz i hate people saying majority is like 95 percent and crap, it gets me pissed

Not all skaters listen to rock bruh many do but im sure they've got other interests in music. I think the mix of our young culture, skate videos, skate cultures before us, as well as just our own surroundings influences what we listen to.

hell yeah trip-hop is awesome. I love dj shadow. i was listening to this live **** with him and cut chemist the other day that was mind blowing.

Some of my favorite bands are AC/DC, The Doors, The Beatles, Tool, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Hendrix, Black Sabbath, and then I like Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, Sublime, Bob Marley, Ziggy Marley, Jack Johnson, James Morrison is ok, and some others, I'm into about every genre but techno.

I listen to the fall of troy, at the drive in, the mars volta, foxy shazam, rise aginst, gorilla biscuits, revolution mother, the ramones, rage against the machine, ever some Queen.
My other friend that skaters listens to Bob marley. Thats all he has on his ipod.

rap sucks to skate to. puts me in a bad mood. i like anything but classical, rap, or country music... and 99% of pop.
