Not too stoked on the shia part, but its an Indy flick. The best trilogy ever created, so I'm really hoping this one will follow through just like the others have. I'll prolly go one of the first days it's open.

^^ For you, I'll download it!

And I agree with Tom 100% I hate that Shia kid (My uncle worked on a movie with him a few years ago with Disney and it involved snow and he was throwing snow balls at all the workers, so my uncle nailed him in the head with one and he started cussing because he got hit and threatened to get who ever threw it fired, but hopefully he grew out of his douchiness) but I love the heck out of the Indy movies, I have all of them on DVD and a special edition bonus DVD, I love thom SO much.

I'm reading one of the books right now. "Indiana Jones and the Dinosaur Eggs."

In the beginning, Indy finds the Crystal Skull and it gets taken by Belloq (the guy from "Raiders" that stole the idol and the Arc from him.)

Can't wait to see this sunday :). I got a little soft spot for Shia Labeouf. I mean he was awsome in Transformers and Disturbia. this film is kinda a bigger role so should be intresting :)

yeah I'm gonna see it this weekend. I'm not a fan of shia and it'll probably be a bad movie but hopefully not. Rambo and Rocky made a good comeback maybe this will too. On other hand the Star Wars prequals come to mind.

I decided to go see the midnight showing, I personally loved it, as did the friends I went with, but another friend we saw there didn't like it, however, he hadn't seen the first 3 movies, and it had a bit of things from previous movies. I really liked it despite the over use of dramatic effects, the weird story and the characters doing certain impossible things so flawlessly, but that's what makes an Indy movie an Indy movie, it was badass!

I saw it on friday. Its really entertaining (the 1st half hour goes NOWHERE though) but it is completely rediculous haha.
[I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone so i'll write the rest of my commentin spoiler form lol.]

i think i suspected the film might be getting a bit rediculous was when indianna survives A NUCLEAR BLAST in a FRIDGE FREEZER!! haha or maybe when the kid swings through the jungle like freakin tarzan haha ...perfectly into the truck aswell...
Oh and also how come the aliens and skulls were magnetic only some of the time? like all the lights in the warehouse were metal and werent affected and anything metal anyone had around the skull was never attracted to it until the story caused for it to be lol
lol funniest bit has got to be when indianna falls off the rocket thing haha, i think he might've had a few whiskeys whilst he was on there:p. i enjoyed the film but i defo wouldnt buy it or go see it again

They weren't magnetic, because it attracted the gold, and gold's not magnetic, it was an alien thing that attracts certain things.

I thought it was great! Definetely worth just going out and watching, but you have to have seen the first 3 moives somewhat.

so yea, i really liked it.. yea, there were some cheesey parts, like the saved by the fridge thing, and the swinging in the trees made nooooooooooo sense, but i really liked it...
i think shia did a great job, he was pretty funny throughout the whole movie.

and a thing to remember, all of the indiana jones movies have been a little cheesey. i suspect that the cheeseyness of the older movies was mainly because of a lack of decent special effect back in the day, but whatever. :))

so yea, overall, i liked it, but it wasn't worth $9.50. (grrrr, i said i would buy my friend a a ticket, but when i got there, not only did i find that the prices gone up $1.50, but also that my giftcard was out, lolz.... haha, still glad i bought her ticket tho..)

I spent the whole movie hoping it would somehow twist away from the context of this spoiler, then it just spiraled right toward it like a moth into a fire. Way too played-out a plot to be good enough for Indy! It barely would have sufficed for Mulder & Scully. The action sequences were fun, but they couldn't bail the movie out from all the cliches. So, while I really like Raiders and Last Crusade, I hate Temple Of Doom and the latest turkey.

Saw it, loved it. As the movie does take place in the 50s, it did draw on the current media of the time for the story, which explains the source of the crystal skull. Great movie, will definetly pick it up on DVD once it's out.
The fridge scene was awsome. While the lead would protect you, there's no padding so you'd end up with a lot of broken bones after a toss like that. Actually, the entire desert town scene was hilarious :)

so dumb, lots of cool action parts. but after about an hour the plot just basically drowns into a sea of retardedness.....

like wtf. leave it to george lucas to throw aliens in a movie not even involving aliens....

I love how everyone is so pissed off at the alien bit.

Indy movies have always reflected the media from their settings.
1950's USA? Oh my god was that ever the Roswell era, and in my opinion Lucas did a good job mixing the two once again.

Why was the stuff inside the grenade attracted to it then, or i suppose convieniently the alien attracted substances in grenades *raises eyebrow* (haha me knowing nothing about weaponry, if grenades contain gold then fair enough, but i doubt it somehow)
