Anyone else here listen to it? It's basically rap music, but most songs are mainly about girls, cars, and drugs. I understand all rap nowadays is like that, and it's not very appealing to most, but whatever.

I don't know why I love it so much. I absolutely hate rap, other than some old stuff and Lupe Fiasco, but I love trap music. The beats go way too hard in almost every song, there's just something about it.

Main trap artists that I like are basically Gucci Mane and Shawty Lo.

They don't make radio music, their mixtapes say it all.

Gucci Mane is what you would call mainstream bull**** since he IS mainstream.

There is no such thing as trap music to make it a true form of music you would have to do away with rap, and to be honest what you call trap music is really gangsta rap. You would have to say LL Cool J and Tone Loc is trap music as well.

But you can call what you like.

Just coz somethings mainstream doesn't mean it's bad. Listen to what you like, don't be a non-conformist just for the sake of it.
