I am out at a campground for the weekend and I happened to have my freestyle board with me. There were some kids skatboarding so I started to skate as well. These kids came up to me and started asking me about my skateboard. So I explained what freestyle is to them and then showed them some tricks. Now, I'm not real good or anything but I did a rail stand to a casper 360. It was interesting seeing their reactions and I'm kinda glad that I was able to show them something other than street skating.

that's awesome! that happens to me a LOT at the skatepark. I have a street deck I'll ride around for awhile, but always before I leave I pull out my freestyle board and start doing some fs tricks and the kids there are always like "Why's your board like that" and then when I say it's for freestyle and do some tricks they're like "WHOA!!! Hey so and so, watch this! Do that again" it's pretty funny. :)

I was at the park today and I learned Double/ Triple Ghost Railflips:) but these two wee kids were like, "why do you keep leaving your board on its side like that?" I'm not sure they really understood... I suck at spreading the word.

I hear ya man... a month ago bunch of kids from my college campus daycare was having fun when one of the teachers suckered me into giving them a freestyle demo...
The Result: Total failure, happy children, best experience of my life...
