Well im new to skating and everything and sometimes I will mess up on manuals and the bottom of the tail will get scratched(like the paint and etc) and I have noticed some of the cuts are kind of deep cuts in it, there's a few, is this ok? Also how can i prevent it better?

Thats called razor tails. Theres nothing much you can do about it, it's normal. But if you are so concerned about cutting yoru **** off then:
Get some sand paper or flier and scrapt the tails and nose.

it happens to everyone over a period of time, it's called razor tail. The deep cuts are probally from big stones that you have scraped over, the only way to prevent that is to practice on smoother ground.

Cut the back of your tail off, but only about one inch of it. Maybe less. My cousin Adam did that to his board (which is now mine because he gave it to me), and it greatly increaded the grip for manuels, ollies, all that good stuff. And, don't worry if later on your board gets chips took off of it, because it will happen.
Assassin1, DO NOT do what he just said.

No not atall, the only thing razor tail does is make your board look a bit squared off after a while. And it might slightly affect the pop in your ollie but it won't stop you from being able to ollie so you should be OK.

try not to scrape your tail too much but deck damage is just something to get used to
Having said that still try to take care of it, dont leave it in rain etc. but dont worry about the graffik and stuff

It's cool. Just don't tailstop to reduce wear and tear, it also helps prolong the life of your tail.
