Hey, I've been making a skate video and it's 4/7 done. I use Windows Movie Maker. The problem is matching the audio with the actual skate footage. What happens is that I have to play the video all the way from the start in order for the audio to flow with the clips at the right place. If I start playing the video anywhere else, the song will only just start playing at that time instead of where it should (at the beginning). Or at least, if I starting playing the video at any given scene, any part of the song will play where I don't want it to. I don't know why this is happening. I appreciate any help.

Hmm. I think I know what to do.

Drag your movie clip into the Video section of the timeline. On the left of the timeline theres a little + sign. Go ahead and click that, that will show the audio from your clip. Right click the audio portion and select "mute". Then, drag the same video clip from your collection into the Audio/Music timeline below the Video one, so now you have your audio separate from your video. Now you can go ahead and align the audio with the video... But it should already be like that now. Hope that works!
