Ok I can't find anything but the 'hold control and drag to go fast or slow' thats easy...what I really need help with is this.

Lets say I have a video of me skating..and im riding down the street then I do a kickflip...I want the video to show me riding down the street, then right as the board flips...it goes slow motion then as the board does the full rotation it goes back to normal speed. Not the whole "use wmm to slow down the clip with a repeated clip"

I really need help on this because all I find is making the whole video slow motion but I want to be able to slow mo a certain part of the video while maintaining regular speed before and after.
THANKS A BUNCH!

Hi!
Okay.. This is how I do it. (Maybe a little mucky way to do it, but it's the only way I know..):

1. Click at the point in the video where you want to activate 'Slowmotion' (the beginning of the slowmotion-part). Then push 's' on your keyboard. (It will split the video in two)

2. Then, go to the point where you want to turn it of (the end of the slowmotion-part). Click at it, then push 's' on your keyboard. It will split.

3. Now you got one individual clip in the middle. Copy the clip; then delete it. Then paste it in again. :) (if not, it won't work)

At last; add the slowmotion-effect on the clip in the middle.

Hmm.. I'm not good at explaining in english, but ask if you didn't fully understand. I'm glad to help. ;)

You can't exactly make a real ramped slow mo in vegas, but ^ that's the way to fake it.

you don't need to copy and paste it. Just make the two splits, then drag the last part out of the way. control-click on the side of the part you want to be in slow motion, and drag it out as much as you want. Right click on the audio and click 'link to stretch' (or whatever it says) to get the sound right. then, just drag the last clip back until it snaps to the slow-motion part.
