I've always loved watching people skate. I have just been watching the latest vans podcast and it inspired me to skate. I dont really know which board to get:icon_redf
I can go in a straight line and turn but thats about it. I have skating shoes so, thats okay.
Any ideas?

Wellcome to the cafe I recament not to get a pro modle although they are sexy boards they arn't the best for beginners start out with a mini logo or a local company deck but don't get off brand such as wallmart target ect. go for decks 30-45 pro modles will have a name on them and signature decks are ok to as long as they arn't pro because the quality of a pro modle stinks because they tend to bust a little easyer and if you get a signature modle its fine because most of the time they make them pretty strong because the small company selling them wants you to buy more!

Thank you for reading also wellcome to the cafe!

Hey dude, welcome to the cafe...
and/..
get a nice blank. You're just starting skating right? Blanks are pretty much just as good as pro models or branded decks. Blanks are cheaper too.

Do you need recommendation for other skating items too? Don't forget to find out what size fits you for the decks.
bearings I recommend are Bones brand, blank wheels, Krux or Ventures trucks. Oh, also if you don't like vibration from the ground or cracks in the deck in the truck area, get some riser pads (get the impact-absorbant ones because then you have a nice landing feeling).

I found this one, im not sure if its any good. It has Maple double kick skateboard with polished aluminium trucks, abec-3 bearings and lightweight PU injection wheels.

That okay?

Abec 3, that's a low rate for the ABECs. It means those bearings won't go as fast as others. I've never heard of PU injection wheels and the other stuff... Are you sure you want to trust it?

Bro, tell me your budget I'll help you pick out stuff.
Really though, it's great if you get blank deck and blank wheels. You'll save money and it's pretty much the same. If you're going to get the ABEC ranks for the bearings, get the Abec 7's.

Well, it depends. Say £30?
Will that be enough?
