how do i deinterlace in sony vegas movie studio?

just export as a video format like .wmv. if you look at the settings of the file type you want to export to and the frame rate is 30 instead of 29.97, you'll probably be fine.

well i exported a video that was like 8 seconds long in .mov and tried to upload it to youtube, but it took forever so i decided it was too big...

you probably didn't compress it

yea .mov and .avi's are uncompressed so they are 12x larger than a HQ .mp4 file

just render it as a .mp4, and it wil be great quality and low file size

well i got MPEG streamclip to compress it and deinterlace it and i can export it as .avi or .mov

are these settings good? got them off SP
