yeah i was thinking the same thing. maybe a magazine wants to put out a video of skaters in the magazine? or something? who knows. but if you mean taking pictures, i would say to just start taking pictures and sending them into magazine companies. if they're good enough, you should get recognized.

the transworld site has tons of vids on there. who is that shot by?

1st off, take classes, learn as much as you can about filming, editing ect.

2nd, film, film film skating. make lil dvd's, websites, post footy.

some magazine are looking for filmers. or you maybe asked to help contribute to a video...

the main problem with filming for skating is, the lack of credit and YOUTUBE!!!!

youtube has crappy quality, and whenever something gets filmed it goes straight to youtube somehow, try blip.tv for better quality

the problem with youtube is;

as soon as a video has been released (or even before - like when i found the deathwish vid)
someone posts it on youtube or some other site so people can see it for free.

the main problem with this is alot of filmers depend on the video sales. when its put out for free = no money.

alot of these videos take YEARS to put together. thats alot of time to be giving away for free
