They're nice and high, help keep your shinpads in place, have extra support around the ankle and have padding on the sole to help prevent from brusing.

i had a friend who would drive 150 miles to buy circa ankle socks be cause he thought they were the only socks he could skate in

socks make no real difference to me
i get the 6 dollar 10 pack of mid socks at walmart
