does anyone have any tips for the flicking part of this trick because when i try my foot just kinda rolls off and the board doesnt flip at all. could it also be that i need to practice more in order to get my back foot more experienced in flipping because its used to popping like in normal non-nollie or switch tricks? any help would be great.

Now this really is my trademark trick, I do them all the time and am in love with them.
For me there really is little effort in the flick, heck I don't even think about trying to even do a flick! I personall find that with any heels there isn't an actual flick technique needed to be learnt exactly, unlike Kickflips where a good flick with the toes is essential.
I think my advice is sounding a bit crap so I am going to stop short and cut to the chase here, just focus on getting a decent pop in your Nollie and flinging your foot out in the motion you would expect. I know the high side part of my foot hits the carve first but it's only when my heel gets there does it start to spin.

hey thanks, that helped me out alot, i'm learning this trick, but the thread i posted "easing into switch/nollie" hasn't got any replies, where i specifically asked about nollie heels :) they look nice, and the position feels really cool too haha.. i would make another thread, but that's not good for respect, and bumping is degrading lol ^^ oh well, i guess i'll have to just ask friends and whatnot
thanks for the tip dude!

For nollie heels I put my back foot right behind the bolts and flick straight forward off the board. For me, thats how i get the board to spin under me and not off to the side. Plus i think if you keep your foot back there your nollie heel gets higher.
