Just skated a new Chocolate deck I got (the 7.5 Scott Johnston Saint Claire for those who care), and it is awesome. The board has great pop and a nice, comfortable feel to it. It seems pretty durable as well considering the couple sketchy landings I had. Still iffy on that, but overall it's the best deck I've owned yet.

Chocolate/Girl decks are fantastic.

I think I found my go-to brand for quite some time.

I don't see whats so special about girl decks. The one I have one now is decent but I liked my enjoi and mystery a lot more.

I went from an Enjoi to a Chocolate after a snap, and I still rate Enjoi's high. I just gotta give the nod to the Chocolate.

my flip deck lasted 3 years and the pop was PERFECT till it snapped. How do Chocolates compare? I don't think I'll ever find a deck that good again, but I'll be using your advise =)

mhmm i havent skated much chocolate, but i rode a friends for a bit, and landed everything :) i'm ridin' my second straight almost impact chris haslam. i like the 7.8 ness, and even though i think the whole carbon-fiber thing is probably not all that useful, i dont do TOO big things anyway, and sometime this summer, i'm gonna probably get a new deck. i'll go chocolate i guess :) thanks for the review

I think its a great deck so far. I've only be skating it for a couple weeks but seems great. Nice pop, feels comforable to me, and its pretty strong as far as chips.

I have a girl and love it. But I'm not liking the size 7.625 I prefer 7.5 or 7.75:)

hmm...so from what i've heard in this thread, seems like girl/chocolate offer relatively the same strength, pop, life, and general good-ness(lol)? i think chocolates look sweet, and they havent been bummed at all from what i've heard, whereas girl seems to go good for some, but others say the opposite. i have a chocolate beanie :) so it'll go good too haha

Girl and Chocolate are basically the same except the teams.

They created Chocolate from Girl because of lack of spots for the Girl team.
