Does a pop shuv it or normal shuv it count as a freestyle trick?

why is it a fail. the guy doesn't know if it counts as a freestyle trick. instead of being mean about it, why don't you help him and answer it.

i would say that a pop shove is just a street trick. i don't freestyle, but im pretty sure no freestyle tricks pop into the air like a pop shove does.

Sorry, i'm just going to step in here and pick up on the general ignorance seeing as i'm the bad guy today anyway.

Umm.. what the hell? Well, first of all we'll point out the fact that a freestyler invented the flatland ollie, and then go on to mention the invention of the ollie kickflip by a freestyler. Perhaps then point out all popped ollie flip tricks from the invetion of freestyle tricks.

After that, i'd then like to list popular popped freestyle tricks such as the ollie fingerflip and it's variations, airwalks/scarewalks etc, flatland indys, Don Brown's signature pop shuvit indy etc. etc. etc.

Granted you said 'pretty sure', but a bit of basic background reading (or a fundamental understanding of the evolution of skateboarding) wouldn't have gone a miss before making a statement like that

I never said it wasn't invented by a freestyle skater. i would feel pretty stupid if i didnt know that freestyle was what created modern street skating. what i was trying to put out is that i didn't think that tricks such as a pop shove it or kickflip would be considered a freestyle trick in this day and age. like a basic pop flip and land trick. i would think most people would say that a kickflip or heelflip is a street trick and not a freestyle trick. i wasn't thinking of tricks such as a fingerflip when i said that though. when i said that i was pointing it towards a trick where the trick is just popped, flipped, and landed. not as ollieng up and doing a grab. im not really good at explaining things, so hopefully you understand what im trying to say.
