KqshQwBHvu4 Aries 06-02-2008, 06:54 PM bump.... I amThe1 inUr80 06-02-2008, 07:37 PM im kind of the same, i get quite a bit closer though, i guess all i can say is dont try and do them high or nuthin just look down, do the motion, jump, raise your arms in the air (it helps) and dont even think about your shoulders cus i dont and i have landed a few and get close all the time. keep at it ur almost there too. McCrank 06-02-2008, 07:46 PM you are just flipping the board and jumping randomly. the trick is to prioritize the landing over the flipping. you will probably land with the board upside down at first but just work on it and you will land no problem. bananjoss 06-03-2008, 04:31 PM no offence but you really are not close. i always though "its all in your backfoot" was like a myth, so i got some tre flips without actually using my backfoot enough, then i realized it really is all in your backfoot. what your doing entirely wrong is your throwing the board away, and thats because you dont scoop it. you need to force it to go under you and not fly away, by scooping. and you also need to have your sholders parallel to the board, at least thats how i do it. in the first attempt you landed fakie which means your turning your body the opposite direction which is because you throw the board away so hard it makes your body turn. to fix this you could wind up like if you were going to do a bs 180 ollie and then you do the 3 flip and you should not turn :) good luck cha-BANG 06-03-2008, 07:23 PM right, great advice, that's how you should think about it:) i'm reppin bananjoss just for bein' so awesome : P good luck on your tre's dude! soofadude 06-06-2008, 10:30 PM tre flips look the coolest to me tres all day 06-15-2008, 10:15 AM for a tre its all in a good scoop with your foot in the pocket of the tail and when you starting scooping do a flick not a hard one just a nice and easy one then pull your legs up and look for the top of the board and place your feet back on the board |
